So it seems they may have an inventory problem as others have stated. I've used them a couple of times and enjoyed the service although I find them more expensive then others I'm willing to pay because of the service and convenient location to my home. 

I made a reservation with the reservation line, who didn't know they had a drop box, so I informed him that they did as I had seen it on my previous rental experiences there. We discussed the kind of outlandish rate I was quoted - 3 days instead of 2 because they were closed on Sunday which was $200 +, I expressed my concern at the rate and the reservationist said they had a weekend special that was more reasonable and in line with other car rental companies so we booked it and he transferred me to the office for pick up.

Once transferred to the office things went down hill from there. I was informed they didn't have any economy cars that are the weekend rate special all they had was something much more expensive than what I thought was expensive already!

I'm not sure what their inventory was, but it's been my business experience that if I had unused inventory (20 cars etc) that were not going to be rented that day and had an opportunity to sell one (even at a lesser rate) well, I definitely would - that would make sense. But instead of taking the opportunity to make the customer warm and fuzzy and an advocate of the company - they just said sorry we don't have any cars at the weekend rate. They didn't even acknowledge that I had frequently used their services. They did recommend I call around to other Enterprise locations, but I called a less expensive company and received the service I was looking for.

stars.  This is not a reflection of the staff, I will always go through enterprise because the staff members are amazing.   3 stars is due to the Virginia Beach area and lack of available cars for rent.   Just sitting here, I've heard the guy at the desk have to apologize to 7 different people over the phone due to no cars for rent and no cars in Stock that were rented online.  Yesterday I was involved in an accident and had to get a rental,  it was 11am and all 6 locations that were anywhere near my location were sold out.... there are no special events going on in my area,  it was just a Tuesday.  I was lucky to get a car today.   Once again,  love the staff because they always go the extra step to take care of me, but the Virginia Beach and surrounding area are too thin in the summer and need more stock.

Over all the services were great.  The only thing that I did not like was, I reserved a standard car such as a Buick received a confirmation number.  When I arrived at the pickup location they said they gave me an up grade.  I received a Jeep compass.  It was no up grade,. Bad gas mileage and very uncomfortable.  Please in the future allow me options not tell me this is all you have.  If I have a reservation,. That's​ what it is.  Thanks...

Staff here were very friendly and quite accommodating.  The special request vehicle was there and had 2 choices (we requested a large SUV) Was very flexible with the extra cost for 2nd driver, was able to be waived with AAA. The lot was large and safe and I was able to leave my car in their parking lot for the extended weekend without any issues. The address shows military base/Oceana but the actual rental office is on General Booth Blvd, within 5 min of base. You do NOT need to be military to utilize the vehicles. Will definately utilize this rental agency if I ever need to again.
