Wonderful place to stay in the heart of downtown Williamsburg. It's tucked away yet right on the main thoroughfare. Check-in was amazingly easy. The room was spacious and clean with delightful personal touches. Comfy beds. A perfect little breakfast room with home baked casseroles, fruit, ham biscuits. I would most definitely stay here again.

We have been travelling to Williamsburg regularly for many years, both to vacation, and to visit our daughters, who graduated from the College of William and Mary. Our recent stay at the Fife and Drum Inn was memorable for several reasons. First of all, our hosts were very gracious and welcoming. Additionally, the accommodations were very comfortable, the room was spacious and well-appointed, and the breakfast was very good. We absolutely loved the location! It was so easy to walk everywhere, and not have to deal with parking issues, which we have encountered in the past. We will definitely return to the Fife and Drum on our next visit.

The location really can't be beat. Parking is close, convenient, and free. The best part about staying here is that you step out the door and you're in the midst of the historic district surrounded by the college, Merchant's Square, and Colonial Williamsburg. We love Rhonda, the housekeeper, who always takes such wonderful care of us whenever we visit. This was our daughter's first visit to the Inn and she had a wonderful time. They produce a delicious breakfast that satisfies even our picky eater and nobody can beat the afternoon cookies and lemonade that await you when you return from sight-seeing or shopping.

My brother and I reserved the Yorktown Room for a night as a gift for our parents. They had a wonderful experience. Two things they mentioned specifically were how delicious the breakfast was and how nice it was to be right in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg--to enjoy all that the town had to offer. The robes were a nice touch that they mentioned, as was the fact that all of the bedroom and bathroom accoutrements were placed just-so and tied with a cute piece of yarn. A historical and classically elegant environment with modern day functionality. Thanks Billy and Sharon for helping our parents feel right at home!

Great B&B. Very helpful and knowledgeable of area. Plus a breakfast out of this world. I would recommend the B&B lovers lime myself to stay here
