It was very nice and in a perfect location for exploring historic Williamsburg. We were there just before Christmas and the hotel was very festive. The hotel seems to be going through phases of renovation with is nice because I really do like the hotel and I plan to come back next year. I stayed in an "un-renovated" room and it was very nice and fitting with the Williamsburg theme. Check-in was smooth and the staff at the desk were friendly! The hotel is nicely appointed in a colonial style which adds to the charm. I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 because I unfortunately had a bad run-in with the bellman. He was very rude to me because (yes) I used a luggage cart without the assistant of the staff (. I was not rude, but he snarled at me when I returned it and snatched it out of my hands. So it was the last impression that I had at the hotel and that was a little disappointing. I expected a little more high quality service. And on the note of service, we had to wait over 24hrs to have a working phone and TV in our room. I guess the message may have been discarded accidentally? So stay here! Because for the little more this hotel cost over lesser brands it is WELL worth it and very reasonable when comparing to the Williamsburg Inn which is lovely as well.

Training meeting location was comfortable. I did not stay as a overnight guest as cost was prohibitive per work. Parking was difficult. Great meeting snacks, but I did not care for the luncheon.

Clean and quiet room, friendly staff. Do not eat at the Lodge restaurant, it is overpriced and the food is dreadful, they need a new chef. No continental breakfast included they even charge for coffee in the morning! The gym is modern and the indoor pool is Pleasant, outdoor pool doesn't open till 9, no sauna or steem room! For what they charge the need to address the food and the steam room issue.

Great place for a conference. A little over priced. The shampoo and conditioner they provide are the best I've ever had.

A world class resort location, Colonial Williamsburg, deser as a world class hotel and meeting center. The Lodge fits the bill to a T! Meeting rooms and social gathering venues are well kept and staffed with great people. if given the oppp5 to come here, run, don't walk.
