The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, and the views are lovely. The layout of our room gave me privacy for changing, and included a sink outside of the main bathroom, which was great for getting ready in the morning. We had good water pressure, and comfortable beds. While there is not breakfast per se, there is a 24 hour snack area with free non-alcoholic beverages, fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc. I particularly enjoyed the hot beverage maker. My only complaint was that we had a connecting room, and we could hear the people next door.

Great location, but this hotel is over-priced. I reserved a room with a fireplace, thinking that it would be nice to have a fire on a cold winter night. They require that housekeeping light the fires. I called and requested this service, but after an hour and a half, they still hadn't arrived. By then it was too late to want a fire. The next morning, the shower produced only slightly warm water.

Staff is pleasant. Nice location. Rooms are spacious and clean. We will be coming back soon.

Our room was huge! Very nice, clean and super quiet. The drinks in the machines are expensive here and all through Williamsburg. It is in walking distance to the historic city and was the main reason I booked this hotel. If you are up to walking long distances you need to stay here. You get a good discount when you buy your ticket and a free neck lanyard to hold your ticket. There are so many perks for staying here. It is a no brainer. I highly recommend this Williamsburg hotel.

I don't know why this hotel has such high reviews. We were woken up by fire alarms in the middle of the night, the hotel room carpet is old and buckled in several locations, the shower head is terrible and short, the breakfast is not existent. Most ammentities are very far from this location so hard to take advantage without driving. It was really disappointing based on all the high reviews.
