Beautiful place for a budget hotel. The rooms are all 2 double beds but they sure are comfy. Checked for bugs, absolutely none. Had a small issue and it was handled quickly and professionally by the staff. Comfy, very cool shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers. And Breakfast was quite large for a budget hotel, very impressive. Their Orange Juice is delicious!

Right next to the forest, a railway with sparse train traffic is 1000 ft away. Takes about 5 minutes to walk to Colonial Williamsburg from here. The staff surprised me. Everyone here was sharp and with it. They were all interesting and attentive to our needs. It isn’t a 5 Star Hotel but it is really comfortable and clean. The pool is lovely. And it is in a great spot for all the historical and William And Mary College activities. Really nice location.

Cheap and cheerful, walking distance to town. Rooms were clean and comfortable if not the most modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay if you want to walk downtown be able to have a few drinks and not have to worry about driving

This is the best value in Williamsburg, dated but well kept. Its  location is great and the free  breakfast is the best we have ever had at any hotel. When we stayed there during Illuminations, we were able to leave our car and walk to any part of town. It is close to the visitors center and also close to the Henry street bus station. There is no need to find a newer fancy hotel when I spend most of my stay seeing the historic area anyway. Besides, I like the atmosphere of the place.
We always try to stay there when we visit.

The staff was very professional and efficient.  However, this is a older hotel that is need of updating and remodeling.  It is the most affordable of the CW properties and the facility provides clean rooms with no frills.  In the off season you are paying Best Western prices for a Motel 6 quality facility.  During tourist season you are paying a lot more for it than you should.  It conveniently located close to the historic area and Amtrak station.  A sparce continental breakfast is provided.  Also...the lights in the rooms take a min or two to warm up to full brightness.
