Awesome Experience.  The sales team was totally professional. And they didn't try to take advantage of me.  I came in and found the car I wanted but I still shopped around. After going to 3 other places I went right back to Five Star Autos.  I Got the best price, best deal and totally the best service.

I purchased a 2010 Toyota Highlander Hybrid in October 2017 from them, I have been nothing but impressed by the quality of the car. I have used the car for a road trip across the USA (22,000 miles later) and the car has had zero issues other than normal scheduled maintenance. 

What was the experience buying the car.   The shop is not fancy, but lets be honest you aren't there for the shop. When me and my partner turned up to buy the car, the dealer was up front with me about the car and when I asked about how it ran, he said you are from out of town, why not take it for a spin for the day and see for yourself.

Here are the keys (of course they took copies of our passports) take it out for as long as you like, see if you like it, just return it by end of day. After a couple of hours checking out the car driving it around, checking the mechanics and even measuring everything up as we were planning to convert it into a car camper; We took it back and it was a low pressure sell and they said just contact them if we wanted to purchase.  We thought about it over 24 hours and came back the next day.

As foreigners we were worried as unlike most other developed countries the US doesn't have the same consumer protections. They did provide us with a basic insurance plan (not warranty) free of charge on the mechanics of the car. 

After negotiations, we agreed on an acceptable price, and they even arranged car registration on the spot (which as a foreigner can be rather annoying to do; they even posted us the number plates once they were ready from the DMV). They also removed the middle row of seat placing them into storage for us, to allow us to convert it into a camper. All ready for our return to fly back out of the country.

After 6 months driving and 22,000 miles later we couldn't be happier with the purchase. It has been a at least on the car side of things a stress free road trip.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this small building with tons of other used car dealerships lining the streets but I have found this place to be upstanding and honest. I only heard of this place because my dad, an undercover cop for 20 years bought two cars from the dealership. I told them my dad's name when I asked about the car and they offered me their warranty at a huge discount. The car was advertised at 86000 miles. Once I had signed the papers and gotten it home I realized it had 110000. I messaged the salesman who said it was too late because I had signed the paper that he "showed me" which meant he just pointed where to sign. I felt got. I called Robert the owner who assured me that Dee was an upstanding guy and that's not how they do business so he gave a partial refund on my deposit. Robert is all about customer satisfaction and has helped me in my decision to give his establishment a 5 star review. I don't care about mistakes as much as I care about what is done to fix them.
