Art Gallery featuring Iva prince "Grandma Moses", ORIGINAL oil paintings!!!
Iva Prince, a native of the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, is often referred to as the
Grandma Moses of the Smokies.
Iva lives closely with her subject matter and enjoys a rich mountain heritage, being a descendant of Sevierville’s Jones Cove settlers.
Living happily on her few acres of mountain land she calls the
“Garden of Eden”, she paints mountain, forest and cabin scenes.
You are drawn into her world
when you pay her a visit and
sit on her porch, walk along her
path or wade in her creek.
Painting for over 60 years, Iva opened her first gallery in downtown Gatlinburg in 1967 where she painted for over 20 years. She now paints exclusively in her “Garden of Eden” and welcomes everyone to
“come by while you’re in town”!!
