Beautiful park with excellent maintained trails. The highlight to me was definitely by the Live Oak part of the trail where you can lay under the trees and listen to the waves. IMPORTANT: There are TONS of ticks. My dog had a dozen or more on her and I had even more on me. They were extremely small an hard to find. Smaller than a freckle. I had on tan north face pants and something about that just attracted them they were all over. Honestly I had such a great time I want to go back but unless they get the ticks under control I don’t know if I will. UPDATE: I went back again an same thing in the grasses near the water lots of super tiny ticks. This time I was prepared with off brand bug spray so as soon as I saw the first one I sprayed up real good and that seemed to do it. In a nut shell, just come prepared with bug spray. It well worth it such a beautiful park. The park Rangers are so great and helpful too!

Goose Creek State Park is a beautiful place to spend the day. The trails are well marked and easy to follow. The trails are a quiet place to get back to nature. The river front offers a place to set back and get your feet wet. You can run, walk, hike, bike and swim here. Something for everyone.

Love this park. My wife and I love cruising through on our motorcycles and just walking along the water. My wife loves collecting Driftwood that we find along the shore. Great place just to relax and enjoy.

Nice place to come swimming and hiking. Went in the visitor center and employees in there barely said a word to us, the stayed behind the computers the whole time. Every time we would press a button to hear what certain animals sounded like they didn't work.
