I purchased a 2014 BMW 535i at Griffin Nissan on 07/26/2017. I was satisfied with the purchase until March 2018. I started smelling burning fluid. I took the car to Griffin to check out and to get an oil change. They informed me that the rear differential was cracked and I needed to take it to the BMW dealer to be repaired. They also gave me the number to the extended warranty company. The BMW tec informed me that there was physical damage to the rear end and surrounding areas. The car was sold to me with this damage. The car fax was clean and looking underneath the car, I could not see this damage. The warranty company declined payment, and I don't blame them. Griffin Nissan's position is that they don't know when the damage occurred so there is nothing they can do. The repair quote is $8,400. Griffin Nissan had the car on the lift March 22, 2018, and showed me a close up picture of the rear end and never mentioned the other parts that was bent and the plastic covering torn away. I'm sure they remembered this car, which is why nothing was said. I have zero confidence in Griffin Nissan and their employees. If you purchase a used car from them, make sure you have them put it up on the rack and check for yourself. It's a shame because I thought they were an HONEST dealership.There will be more to this event. Minister Robert Chambers Griffin Nissan management, Have you taken into account how many people have test driven the vehicle since you purchased it? I was allowed to test drive the car with no sales person present. How many others were allowed to do the same thing. How can you say someone didn't damage the car during a test drive? All I can truthfully tell you is that the car was absolutely damaged when I purchased it, although Scott doesn't seem to believe me.

I would advise anyone to do their research on the vehicle you want and get your own loan and make sure you educate yourself on the way dealerships work and the many tactics used to get you a vehicle do your research and never be in a hurry make sure when you leave where ever you choose to go purchase a vehicle that the deal is finalized and nothing else is needed before you leave the lot in a vehicle... I give them a 1 star do to how they handled the issue at hand and if you do go to Griffin Nissan in Rockingham NC they have great young men that want to work for you... It's unfortunate things panned out the way they did..so do your homework and make sure everything is finalized and nothing else is needed before you drive off the lot...Orbe Cesar Jr...

My wife and I have purchased two vehicles from Griffin Nissan, and we are beyond happy with the quality of our vehicles, the top-notch sales and service teams, and the way they treat us like family every time we walk through the door. The best vehicle dealership I have ever dealt with.

Some of the nicest employees are there! They wanna help you. Had a recall on my cars' airbag. They arranged so quickly for me to have another vehicle...A NIIIICE vehicle too, till my cars parts come it. Everything went so smoothly. I was only upset that I just put in a FULL TANK OF GAS in the car that I was bringing in to see if it was indeed part of the airbag recall. The niiiice car they gave me was half full.
