Earlier this year, I moved from New York City to Pittsburgh.  While the house was being readied, I needed a place to store my household and business possessions.  I alighted upon Guardian Storage (Ross Park-McKnight Road) and have been pleased ever since.  On move-in day, five minutes before their office closed, I discovered that the initial selected unit might be a little too small. And my delivery truck was not yet empty.  The property's management quickly arranged a couple of smaller "spill-over" units to use, if I needed them (it turned-out I did).  They did this without fuss or drama.  A few weeks later, once I emptied the extra units, they "took them back" without complication.  

The property is very clean, well-organized and secure—and there's plenty of space to park, load and unload.  The management staff (John, Tim, Mike) have always treated me like I was their most important client.  They were always highly-professional, friendly and seemed to really value my business.

I also really liked the "Guardian Truck" day-rental service which I used a few times.  It was convenient, easy and hassle-free.

When it came time to leave, there were no "tricks, tactics or surprises."  I gave them a month's notice and they asked me to leave it "broom clean."  
Actually, they cleaned-out my unit for me before I could drive back to do it myself!

Thanks, Guardian (and John, Tim & Mike) for turning a potentially mundane exercise into such a positive experience!  I'll miss you guys!

Guardian on McKnight Road couldn't have been easier to work with in securing a storage unit for our household. My wife and I were able to quickly reserve a unit over the phone and had no problems once we arrived. The manager John was great and pleasant to work with!

For storage facilities and management I have to say this one was top notch.  I leased an interior unit for a year and within that year making payments was an ease, communicating with the manager was hassle free, and the unit remained completely dry.  Moving in and out was a breeze with the large loading dock, freight elevator and numerous carts.  If you are looking for interior storage units I don't think you can do better.
