My family has been taking our cars to Jimmy’s On It for over five years. In that time frame, James and Lindsay have always conveyed prompt and courteous communication. Regardless of a simple inspection or much larger job, James has always completed the work in a timely manner at an exceptionally reasonable price. He is also very forthright with exactly what he did and why it needed to be done. Finding an honest and good mechanic can be difficult, my family and I are glad we did.

Brought my car to Jimmy for an inspection. Seemed like a nice guy. Asked him if he had some goo to take a sticker off of my rear window. He said yes. Picked up the car and a few days later I put my rear defrost on and my stereo begins cutting out. Didn't think much about it since spring/summer was upon us, but later noticed that where the sticker was removed the defrost wasn't working. Called the dealership about it and THEY said "I'm sure your mechanic won't mind fixing the problem, even if he has to replace the window at no cost to you. He's got insurance for these types of mishaps". Called Jimmy about it, told him it would be about $300 to replace the window and he said he wouldn't do it, that it was too small of a claim for him to bring to his insurance, and for me to pay someone else to fix the DAMAGE HE DID to my vehicle. He also said THAT'S WHAT I GET for putting a sticker on my rear window. Instead of using some goo to take off the sticker he used a razor blade that cut the VERY VISIBLE defroster/antenna wires. But hey, "that's what I get"! Well, hey Jimmy, a bad review is what you get for ruining my rear window, your very bad attitude and heinous customer service. Don't trust him - he'll screw you over if push comes to shove. Response to Jimmy: No, no, no. That's not at all what happened! I ABSOLUTELY asked you if you had some "goo" to take the sticker off the back window when I dropped my car off, not when I picked it up. Second, I NEVER saw you with a blade of any type. You told me that you used a blade when I called to talk to you about it nicely. Why are you LYING now??? SHAME ON YOU! Third, I brought my car to an auto mechanic - you - a car guy who claims to know everything about cars and should! I didn't take my car to the florist and ask them to take the sticker off of my rear window. I took it to a car guy! In addition, even if you caused damage to me by accident in the street - I could have gotten your insurance information and you would have been responsible. I NEVER asked you to do it for free or a favor. I even wrote a note out to you explicitly requesting the sticker removal by using some sort of magic "goo" and left it in an envelope with my registration, etc. My bad for asking a CAR guy to remove a sticker from a CAR". Didn't you know that defrost and antennas run through a rear window? As for being a small business owner, I know lots of them who act responsibly and own up to their mistakes. I own up to my mistakes in life. Put yourself in my shoes! I'm a hard worker person with a ruined rear window. Everyone: Jimmy is not a monster. I never said he was. He just ruined my windshield, was very rude to me and now is publicly lying about what happened. Jimmy: Post another lie and I'll give you another bad review. PS - I've NEVER written a bad review in my life. This is my first.

I personally did not meet him only spoke on the phone. But I have no complaints was very nice to meet wife who sat with the car. Had her in and out in no time. I did fail my inspection but to no fault of his once I looked at my back breaks I saw why he failed them. Will go back for any other needs I will have.

I was anticipating having to wait all day for my car to be finished, but Jimmy dropped everything he was doing to inspect my car and get me out the door in less than a half hour. I had a great experience would highly recommend.

Got inspection done...he basically ran through it in 20 minutes and slapped stickers on. A few days later I find out I need new brake pads and rotars because my car was making painful sounds, and that this HAD to be picked up on routine inpection. He missed it. I called him and he didn't even apologize. Not thorough at all.
