My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and did not want to leave! From the minute we walked in to the time we left the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They also let us know that everyday at 5pm they offered fresh cookies and beverages in the lobby (which were delicious). We were also asked which floor and side of the hotel we would prefer since they were not completely booked. Our room was very spacious and had a balcony (all rooms do) that offered us a view of the ocean. The bed was comfortable with soft sheets. There was also a sink, microwave, and fridge in the room and vending on each floor. Breakfast was offered every morning which included a variety of options and the hot items differed each morning. This breakfast bar also included fresh fruit and much more. There was plenty of seating available for the guest along with a nice quaint courtyard(that could be used at any time). The location was also great and just a 2 minute walk from the beach! Shopping was also in walking distance which included grocery shopping and a few other small shops. St. Augustine was only a 10 minute car ride away. We loved every minute of our stay and will not be staying anywhere else if we return to St. Augustine!

Before I went to this hotel,  I was reading some of the reviews. People were complaining about things that are not that bad at this place.  My experience was really good. Our room was so clean, as well as the other areas of the hotel. The staff was very helpful all the time. Breakfast was also good, with different options. I really recommend this place of you want to have a good and not expensive stay.

Walking distance to the beach. Less than 5 minutes. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great complimentary breakfasts.

The manager of this hotel (Hamilton) is very rude and unaccommodating. 
 We had blocked a group of rooms for our wedding and went to cancel the remaining rooms of the block because we thought everyone had booked.  When my father called in to try to book a room on the SAME DAY we had cancelled the block, Hamilton refused to give him the negotiated rate and therefore, my father had to pay an extra $100 per night for a room that was readily available.  Even though my father technically missed the timeline, you would think that they might extend the discounted rate as a courtesy for the father of the groom, especially for such an important event.  Poor customer service.

The hotel is very nice and coveniently located. The rooms are large and well appointed. The parking is off to the sides of the hotel, which requires a bit of walking to get to the car, but not unreasonable. As someone in a wheelchair, almost everything was great. The shower bench did not have a back on it, which made balancing difficult and there were no roll in shower rooms when I selecting my room, so a tub was the only option. I highly recommend this location is needing accommodation in St. Augustine.
