My girlfriend and I came in the day before the business closed for the holidays. We were running a little late, and came in right as they closed. They provided us with great service and I felt these guys really went the extra mile by staying open for us. Many places like these could have easily closed their doors especially that close to the holidays. I know it can be a mixed bag with rental agencies, but I can at least say that the staff that served us were professional and courteous. I would go there again.

I am leaving this review as a warning to other consumers and to shed some light for management. I had reservations to rent a mid size SUV for a short road trip on October 3, 2017. When I arrived at Hertz, on the day of my reservation, the employees at the Franklin location were the LEAST helpful customer service persons I have ever encountered. They informed me that they didn't have a single vehicle on their lot and that I could call elsewhere to maybe find one. A call beforehand would have been very helpful as I was planning to leave as soon as I had picked up the rental car. The Hertz employees were lazy, unhelpful, unwilling to give any sort of guidance as to what to do to obtain a rental. If I could leave negative starts I would.

Brutal experience with an inefficient and rude staff-took me 45 minutes just get my car.

I rented a car in this location in late May and had a terrible experience overall.  The couple bucks I saved rented here was not worth time.  My advice is to go to Budget in Cool Springs-much friendlier and efficient and with a better fleet.
Back to this experience-  when picking up my car, I waited with other customers while staff members walked by and didn't acknowledge the customers there.  When they finally did check us out, it was with poor attitudes and pressure tactics to buy the insurance.  It took me 45 minutes to get my car, then when I did-it was not clean nor was the gas filled up.  So then waited another 10 minutes for gas.  When I dropped off, it was more of the same terrible attitude.  Staff member did not greet me or ask about my experience, just checked me out silently and handed me my receipt.

Awesome experience! Will not be renting from anywhere else. The new manager Johnny is wonderful and extremely helpful! The cars are also very clean and they have whatever you need.

This happens to be the best service from Hertz in the entire country. And I travel all the time.
