I have used this agency/location about a dozen times since I moved here in May 2016 and they have been awesome to work with each time. I have had several deaths in my family in Florida and each time, they have had a car for me...always doing their best to get me a car that gets great mpg. Several times it has been a last minute type deal and they come through for me. I've got two reservations with them at this time and I'm sure they will not let me down.

Hertz car rental in Fairborn is the only place I will ever rent a car from. Before going to them I went to Enterprise thinking they would be more reliable, but after they saw how young I was they immediately took advantage and I ended up paying over $300 in hidden fees when I returned my car. The manager and employees at Hertz have always been extremely respectful and helpful. Most importantly they have always been honest with me even though I'm under 25 (you won't find that most places). I wanted to wait to post my review until I have dealt with them several times, so now I can officially say this is my go to place! 👍👍👍

I have used hertz multiple times and this was the worst. Bottom line save yourself and go to the enterprise across the street. I made my reservation back in March and booked a SUV "Toyota 4 runner, or similar" I booked this for the cargo space, not the seating capacity. I understand the "or similar" part but the unwillingness of the clerk to help was most frustrating. I arrived at 1130 for my 1200 check in time. I figured I needed to be on the road as early as possible so checking in early was a must. I received a call from the clerk at around 8am the morning of to confirm I was still going to pick it up. To my surprise I was greeted with a locked door and a note of be back soon. See picture. No problem I though as I looked at the lot I saw my 4 runner parked on the lot. As I waited I saw 4 other people arrive and find the door locked as well. At 1210 the clerk arrived with a McDonald's cup in hand. The clerk checked me out and when I went to the car he showed me to a jeep Cherokee... Much smaller. I told the clerk that this would not work. He responded that it was the same class and there was no exchange possible because the jeep was a 1 way car. After the clerk said that every option was impossible I called the hertz main line and they informed me the clerk could do a lot transfer so I could take the 4 runner. When I brought this up the clerk said he was not corporate so he could not do it. I asked if we need to call corporate and he said again it was impossible. As this was going on my wife walked across the street and was treated by Mr. Kyle Jackson of enterprise. She told him about our troubles and Kyle took action. They were 97 of 100 cars off the lot so it was slim pickings. But they did have a mini van.... CARGO space! However it was reserved for the next day. Kyle called around and got other locations looking. I was done with hertz and got my money back. I arrived at enterprises to see everything was going well and the clerks were actively finding us a answer to our problem. While Kyle called around the second clerk called a manager and got the mini van released to us... Kyle then asked what hertz was going to charged and then beat their price by $20 and gave a discount on gas.. We were in our way after the van was cleaned and washed. That last part is important because while I was on the line with hertz corporate I saw a car get returned and the checked back out in less that 30 minutes from the hertz location. No cleaning was done and no walk around was completed. The clerk simply received the keys and then issued them out again. The hertz clerk refusal to help obtain a solution was the worts customer service I have ever experienced. All he told me was that he could lower he price on the jeep.... Again I needed cargo space. His reasoning for not issuing me the 4 runner on the lot was because it was a local rental only... So that is why I gave it a 1 star

Tom, the guy whon was supposed to help me, was rude and unaccommodating. I asked to be picked up from location became my car is in the shop. Told I could be and waited an hour even when I was told he would be there in 20-30 minutes. I call and call trying to check the status of my ride. I finally get answer after the hour and am told to basically find my own way. I pay for an uber and get there. Once he finally gets to me, he fails to realize I am Hertz Gold member and has to adjust it in his system. He says he has to charge a deposit, which I never had to deal with before . After he confirms with AAA hertz about the ddposit, I tell that I will just pay my deposit and be on my way. I asked about compensation for my time, he said there was nothing he could do and that if I was unhappy I could go to enterprise or avis across the street. I am in a rush so I deal with it and follow him to the car he has picked out for me. I ask him about the car beside it, which is similar in make but a tad bit bigger. He dismisses me by saying that the car is not in my range. I just take the keys and leave. I am on my way when I realize that I did not even check the receipt. I look at the receipt and I hAve been charged for the free day I got for using my points. I turn back around and go back to Tom and ask about it. He says that I will not be charged but he cannot give me a receipt for it. I ask again for his name and his manager's. He just says that I can go to Entreprise or Avis. He deletes my reservation and tells me there is nothing he can do. I tell him I am calling corporate to which he replies, that there no corporate for their location and that there is nothing he can do. It is just me and him the entire time. Upon my second return to the store, I have my mom hearing the whole thing so that she can witness all of this. I call Hertz reservation and ask to speak with a supervisor. A woman named Amy gets on the phone. She sounds agitated when I start speaking with her. She keeps saying that she cannot help me and then informs me that Tom reported to her that I was "unruly". When she told me this, I was devasted. She would not listen to my mom or me when we tried to explain the situation to her. She just took Tom's side of the story. She ended up hanging up on both of us. This is beyond unprofessional and the worse customer service I have ever received. I love Hertz and even planned on buying a car from them. I have never been treated this way by Hertz or any other business. I will be reporting this to the Business Bureau.

This is barely a business. While both picking up and dropping off the rental, we had to wait (the first time at least 30 minutes) because no one was there to help us. She had walked across the street to Wendy's and left the place unattended. The phone number's voicemail had not yet been set up. The inside of the office was dirty with trash all over the floor. 0/10 Do not recommend.
