Run away!! A reservation "doesn't actually guarantee you a car". While I stood there for over an hour and they knew I wasn't leaving without a car, they simply stole someone else's reservation to give to me. Teresa then noticed in that hour since I got there, the price per week actually went up to 147.00!! Teresa said she would "fix this". I was quoted and given a printed receipt for 111.85 per week rental agreement to match what I was quoted online. I was told if I needed to keep the car longer, I was "locked in " at the 111.85 per week, I only needed to let her know before the due date each week. I called every week and extended the rental for a total of three weeks due to car repair issues on my own car. Every time I called, Teresa updated the reserve on my credit card by 111.85 as agreed. I ended up returning the car 3 days early. But Joe the manager was there. He charged my card without saying a word to me about the total being 421.00 instead of 111.85 x 2 1/2 weeks as I was told. When I was handed the receipt, I brought the mistake to his attention. His answer was, sorry, that's not what the system says. He even charged me late fees saying there was no record of me reserving a third week. I told him to void the transaction, he said no. He then accused me of lying, saying "Teresa would never has agreed to this". He refused to contact her. He told me to leave and I could call the following Monday to talk to her. He refused several times to provide me with his district manager's name and contact number saying, "No. You are dealing with me". Monday I spoke to her and she confirmed our agreement but said I had to call the billing department to process the refund. After 3 days of calling strangers all the way to Florida Hertz corporate office, they said the only one who could fix this was the manager Joe. He would have to send an "E Form" requesting a refund. He won't do it. My bank and I are disputing the charges. Thieves. Liars. Con-Artists. If his district manager reads this, I would like you to contact me!!

Bad service.. Incompetent reservation rep entered info wrong then couldn’t charge card for rental even though money was there. Ran my credit then still didn’t get car even though i met all criteria

You can almost always get the car you want here. But you will probably have to pay the price. Hurts seems to be very overpriced compared to most
