Smooth, fast service. I was out in my rental in 10min.

Car was not available at pickup time. The Hertz guy suggested us to wait up to 4-5 hours but could not provide an estimated new pick up time! No phone call was made prior to pick up to let us know of the change. No extra service or discount was suggested. I would not recommend renting from Hertz.

I made a reservation several weeks in advance to pick up a rental car on Monday May 30, 2016. The day before I was scheduled to pick up my car, somebody from Hertz called me to inform me this location would be closed for the holiday, and I would need to go to the Hertz at the San Diego Airport to pick up my car, and then return it to the airport location at the end of my rental. I was told that I would be reimbursed for taxi fare. If the location at 333 W Harbor Dr was closed for the holiday, they should not have accepted a reservation online.

I specifically made my reservation for this location because it is within walking distance to my hotel. I had to pay for taxi service to and from the airport location. After talking to three managers and showing my taxi receipt, I was reimbursed $15 for my full taxi fare. The manager tried to originally only reimburse $5.00, even though I had a receipt for more. The manager would not give me money for a taxi ride back to the hotel.

I contacted Hertz Customer Service after my trip, and they reimbursed my taxi ride back to the hotel and offered a voucher towards a future rental. Unfortunately, the voucher expired two weeks after it arrived.

I was very disappointed with Hertz Car Rental and would not recommend this company.

Got there at opening and internet was down. Waited patiently for 20 minutes before  I was directed to the Hyatt. Caused me a 30 min delay
