Hotel Blue is an older hotel,  but it worked for what we paid for it.  It was nice that it was on the beach and our room had a view of the ocean.  The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful.  The coffee bar makes a great coffee for a great price!  This hotel would be a good place for a week long family vacation at an affordable price.  Just don't expect anything fancy.

This hotel is very nice and the staff are all very friendly. Anytime we had an issue they were right on it and always did it with a smile. The rooms are a little outdated but are not in bad condition. Our partial view room was very nice and we enjoyed it greatly. The pool, hot tub and swim up bar and all very nice and the beach was close and in a good spot. Shopping is near by and is very close to amusement park and other attractions. would recommend to others.

No lazy river or hot tub as advertised.  Use of another hotels but its not next door inconvenient.  Pay to park at the hotel RIDICULOUS!  ROOMS CLEAN AND HOUSEKEEPING VERY VERY NICE AND HELPFUL

It's an okay place. Nothing fancy to brag about. Kitchenette is fully equipped, bathroom is about average as an apartment complex bathroom, the balcony is nicely situated since you can view the beach and the ocean. However if you have multiple drivers in your party, you can only have one parking pass to park in their garage which also has a kicker of $10 per day. If someone else in your party or family wants to park in the garage they are not allowed to do so since I was told they only give out one parking pass per room. I think that is emphatically stupid. You'll be forced to have your other family member park in the street at a meter which requires payment between the hours of 6 a.m. and midnight. Which means someone has to get up before 6 a.m. to put money in the meter. I will seriously be reconsidering the idea of coming back here in the future because of this. The staff is friendly and the pricing is not too bad considering its beachfront property.

While they may have one of the best swim up bars in the nation, this isn't really a place that people seem to be going to drink. This is one of best places to stay in Myrtle Beach if you want to catch a second hand buzz while on the balcony. And the best part, the front office will not do anything about it! We complained several times starting at 8:30 AM with no results. I do understand that many individuals are there for spring break currently, but when you cannot even have your children on the balcony because they aroma is so overwhelming, something must be done. Now on a better note, the swim up bar is fantastic, the outdoor pool is amazing, the indoor pool and lazy river are nice as well. But again back to child friendly aspect of the whole trip, the number of female individuals walking on the pool deck with their rear-end hanging out in thong bathing suits was astronomical! All in all, not a family friendly resort in a not so family friendly town anymore.
