I am giving them a 5 star but it isn’t for housekeeping. We had our room cleaned on Sunday and they took 4 washcloths and towels and gave us 2 of each. They never touched the bedroom at all. The sad part is that our beds were clear of any personal items just like they ask you to do, and I had a $5 tip sitting on the pillow for their service. They obviously never came into the room because the tip was still there and no beds were made. Today I ask them for two more towels and washcloths directly from the housekeepers..... it might be easier to move a bill through Congress than to get the other two towels and washcloths that they took from me yesterday. 
If I was ranking them by the attitude of the housekeepers, they would get a 1 star. Hire someone who is actually people friendly. This is a people business.

This will be our family's second time staying here and we're never disappointed.  We love the Palmetto 2-3 bedrooms(family of 4) because they have so much room. Housekeeping is good to address concerns. I would love to see some of the furniture upgraded but that's all. Location is Awesome & the view is amazing too. Already planning the next vacation!

I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are so spacious and clean. The kitchen area has everything you could need. Great for families several pools, hot tubs, lazy river, children's area. Close to every thing including amusement park.. Staff extremely friendly..

A great place to stay while visiting Myrtle Beach. They have heated indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and an inside lazy river along with being ocean front. Most of the rooms are on the small side and some need to be updated on the decor front, but overall a relaxing place. It's close to grocery stores and restaurants as well.

This is our second time staying at The Sandy Beach Resort and we loved it! Staff is friendly and attentive. Location is perfect walking distance to the boardwalk and many shops and places to eat. Accommodations are clean and spacious.
