This is a very nice resort.  It is clean, has a good size outside pool and inside.  The only thing is the sauna, the door doesn't stay closed.  It is broken and all the warm air comes out.  The room was excellent and the kitchen is very good has all you need to make a meal.  The coffee machine is good and they provide coffee.  We had the ocean view room and it was excellent.  The view is so pretty!  We will come back in the summer.

The building is a bit dated but some updates help.  Curtains in the room were dirty but everything else seemed clean.  Encountered one old, slow, dying roach during our stay which was not unexpected.  Fantastic view of the ocean.  There was live entertainment one night.  This can be annoying to rooms close by if you're trying to get to sleep early as the bass is very loud and can be clearly heard even with the sliding doors closed.  They do cut it off at 11pm sharp though. The variety of pools is great for the kids.  Lots of lounge chairs all around, some loose and cracked tiles need to be fixed.  The arcade and bowling alley are a nice plus.  Easy private access to the beach and a spot to wash the sand off your feet.  Close to local attractions and restaurants.  Our door lock needed to be repaired but staff were helpful and got maintenance to fix it quickly.

We made a last minute reservation and they have been great so far! The room is clean enough, and big enough to accommodate the 5 of us. The view is amazing! The amenities are great too; the variety and quantity of pools is wonderful. The convenience store is way over priced, but what I would expect. We would definitely recommend this hotel for families!

Coral Beach is a great resort for families. The pools are great and the splash pad is awesome for little kids. The common areas are updated but the rooms could use a little bit of love. For the price it's a great deal and I recommend staying there.

The staff is also super nice and on it. The customer service was really great both when I call and while we've been here.

Could be better but relatively nice. We went there for my 8 year old daughter's birthday. We stayed at Dunes Village last year at MB which had a bigger and better indoor water park, better restaurants, more outdoor activities and more bars. The breakfast buffet at coral beach was typical for the area. Everything good nothing great aside from the wait and kitchen staff. They have a pretty nice bowling alley and arcade. The pool side bar food was surprisingly good and priced in line with things on the strip. The coral beach resort is seems to be the better option for older kids to young adults, but still family friendly. The dunes seems to be designed for kids. The rooms at the coral seemed a bit nicer in terms of how they've been maintained than the dunes, but the layout at the dunes was a little better if I recall correctly. 
Both hotels have ocean front options, are on the strip, but neither is close to the main strip area. It was a 25 minute walk to Ripley's from Coral Beach. With a four year it was longer.
