Update: one year later we decided to stay at the landmark for a week while on vacation it was spectacular got a free upgrade to ocean front room on the top floor view was amazing and the room was spacious and clean Great hotel we we're staying at another hotel but decided to extend our vacation and Decided to stay at the landmark. The lady at the front desk Jennifer was really nice and helpful to meet our needs which included letting us check in at noon. The room was excellent comfy beds flat screen TV and was much larger then other hotels in the area. The ocean view from the room was great and made the balcony a great place to relax. then another huge positive is all the pools they have I believe 12 the outdoor pools were great also having an outdoor lazy river was a huge plus thought it couldn't get better but then boom they had an indoor lazy river and a huge heated indoor pool which was amazing. Definitely recommend and will be staying again next year on our trip to Myrtle Beach

My family has been coming down to the Landmark Resort for about 4 years now. We love it's location and beach access! The indoor swimming is a perfect way to spend cooler evenings or when you just need to get out of the sun for a while. The two restaurants are a little tacky looking but the times we've eaten there the food was good! Staff always seems willing to help out if they can. A few issues I have are the luggage carts are always scattered to kingdom come. This past time I walked roughly 5000 steps just to find one. They are never located to the left of the lobby! The parking garage has a wonderful bridge over the boulevard but this causes a lot of traffic on the 3rd floor. This isn't so much Landmarks issue as just people are bad at parking! And lastly and certainly the worst thing about this great hotel.... the poolside music. Please change the station from local radio to at least some sort of Pandora Beach music! All in all though we will likely keep returning to this fun stay for our beach trips!

Amenities, view and overall experience was great for our family with kids. The pools were heated, which was nice in May (the ocean was a little cold). All staff we came into contact with have been helpful and friendly. The kitchenette area is narrow and separating two rooms, and having the bathroom right off the kitchen could have been disastrous (luckily it wasn't this time). Other than that everything was a great family vacation!

My friend and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Landmark. What we enjoyed most was the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful. They always had a friendly smile and all of them acknowledge you as you walked passed to ask if you would like any assistance. Great environment, our room was perfect for two people and wonderful access to the beach.

Resort has great location, amenities, however my first room air broke called downstairs was told we would be moved next day but I was concerned about the night with no air, asked for fan didn't have one and no one offered to compensate me for the problem. Then one of the main pools was closed. Also the pool outside is not big enough for all the occupants. Latitude restaurant was good. Breakfast buffet was good. Rooms were decent but beds are not comfortable sheets are rough. Pretty laid back resort. ELEVATORS was a major issue!
