What a great store with great service!  They also had a totally awesome Swap Fest, much like that in Silicon Valley and Boston.

It's unbelievable that L&S has now closed forever. Honestly I think L&S Electronics was the only thing progressive about Johnson City and now that it is gone, there literally is no discrete electronics shop anywhere in the TriCities or that is anywhere as good. This is especially bad given that ETSU will be starting an engineering baccalaureate program this coming year.  As a hobbyist and engineer, this has been probably the biggest loss to this community that I know of, especially with Radio Shack gone. I don't see any point in living in East Tennnessee or Tricities at this point. With this closing, I cannot really now support that TriCities is moving in the up and up direction and I totally don't recommend anyone moving to this area, beyond ETSU. Hope they can open a smaller shop or something because now it's totally impossible for me and I'll bet most people to find anything they need for their projects or for individual repairs locally. What a pity and it's horrible that the kids in the area aren't picking up electronics as a hobby anymore. Big loss to them and to the entire community here. :(. We can now officially say that TriCities sucks beans, with nothing creatively fun and technical to do. Based on these data, TriCities simply cannot grow or keep pace with the rest of the technically savvy and sophisticated world out there.  Electronics is the future but the TriCities area without L&S or Radio Shack is clearly not part of this future.

A rare thing in this world. A locally owned electronics store with everything a hobbyist might want in stock. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Family owned always helpful on hard to find and or unique electronics. And great prices on items like Hdmi and fiber optic cables.

Rollo and Bill are very knowledgeable about their electronics parts!  If they don't carry a part, they will get it for you if they can.  It's also handy that they carry various amateur radio items.  I highly recommend L&S Electronics for your electronics parts and supply needs!

I have been going in L&S now on for about a year. I am a ham radio operator and they carry things for my needs Rolo is great and always helpful. His brother is as well. Always friendly and usually has what I need and if not will try to get it for me for the best price. I would recommend going to them for all your electronic needs. Great people
