The staff is lazy and the management is terrible.  The weight room looks like it got hit by a hurricane.  I’ve never been able to find the weights I need easily. 
I’ve been to well run LA Fitness clubs where the staff keeps the weights properly and signs are out up telling the members to replace the weights where they were originally found.  This is an easily remedied situation, but the management is poor.  The personal trainers wander around flirting instead of helping members.  
It’s disgusting.

Can't give it 0 Stars... Total junk compared to other LA Fitness. From management to facility. Limited dumbbells, bars, equipment and re-racking is NEVER enforced. 0/5 STARS. Close it down and start fresh

Have you seen the Rocky movie where he fights the Russian Guy? Well I imagine this gym is probably where that Russian guy trained. The lockers are cold, dirty, and depressing. The only difference here is that the bad guys speak Spanish and only work out chest. The more I thought about it, the more like Russia this gym looks like. And I don't mean in the whole, Olympic champion, "I will Break You" Russia. I mean the, "Where are my free and fair elections", Russia. Don't ask where the free weights are unless you want to be targeted by management (See the pattern?!). Seriously though, do these people take the weights home?! At the end of the day, if you just want to barely lift weights, then this gym can provide that. If you're looking for even a remotely 21st century gym with basic freedom, this isn't the gym for you. Get Big my Friends.

this gym is honestly the worst la fitness there is in all of south florida. you would think it being so close to coral gables it will have high standards but unfortunately it does not. its dirty, old, machines are falling apart and management has to be a family member of the owner. because i cannot believe that someone  that is hired to run such an establishment as LA FITNESS will still be working here having this facility as crappy as this location is. what corporate needs to do is take a trip down to this location and have them close down for renovations and fire all of management and start over. but i guess this will never happened due to this issue has been occurring for a veryyyyyyyyyy long timeeee.

Probably the worst LA Fitness in the 305. This is a former Ballys gym and they have never upgraded it to the standards of their newer gyms on Bird Rd and Flagler Str. 
Weights are thrown everywhere, machines are regularly out of order. Very outdated. The pool on the 7th floor with the outdoor track has been closed for 2 years with a sign that says its being remodeled. Yea right! Nobody has touched that area in years. Stay away at all costs.
