I bought a 24' cabin cruiser from the owner who had it docked there. I moved the boat to Mallard Cove, cheaper and friendlier staff there. I had been warned about the man and woman running (ruining) Lakeshore. Three weeks after moving it I went to check on it to find Lakeshore had come up to Mallard Cove and towed it back to their marine and locked it down claiming money was owed to them on it. I went to the Carter County clerk of court and had a talk who in turn called the Sheriff who determined the previous owner owed them a lot of money for dock rent and repairs, however they had stole the boat from me and made them return it to me. Thank you at the clerk of court and sheriff.

mixed feelings. read to the end. kept my boat there for a year. Nice marina. A month before my annual lease was up, I put a FOR SALE sign on my boat. a couple of days later I got a call from a staff member who tried to force me to let them sell it for me but i declined. they said I couldn't put a FOR SALE sign on it at their marina so i took the sign off. then when I sold it privately, they called me wanting a percentage of the selling price! their reasoning was that it would've been harder to sale if it wasn't at their marina. 2 months prior when they added a wifi "hot spot" I asked an employee what it was called and his reply was "hot spot". then he went on to say they thought about naming it "G-SPOT". That wouldn't normally bother me if my wife and 11 year old daughter hadn't been standing right next to me at the time. So of course after the 2 employees walked away, my daughter asked, "what's a G-spot"?

We go to Watagua Lake a lot of times on the weekend and just love how clean all the area are. Went to the marina to rent a pontoon boat for the last weekend of August. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. The price was great as well. Can't wait to get the boat and have a great time celebrating my daughter's birthday, as this is what she wanted to do for her birthday.

Went out there with a friend. Beautiful day, on a 2 hr trip...beautiful.. Fun.. And the staff was great to us. I have plans of just going to create a new hobby..thanks, Lakeshore is the best so far in the East Tennessee area.

Lakeshore Marina was a perfect compliment to the experience my family and I had at the beautiful Lake Watauga. Ms. Wendy was a wonderful help and we will gladly be visiting at least once each Summer from now on!
