History and Location

Originally a YMCA, our hotel is housed in a 10-story Georgian revival-style structure with intriguing historical flair, located in the heart of the city's business district and less than one block from the Pennsylvania Convention Center.


Architecturally Striking

Striking features and architectural detail awaken the eye: a skylight allows for the play of natural light to our 75-foot central atrium courtyard, while an airy restaurant/bar with graceful archways and classic woodwork brings endless possibility.

A beautiful hotel that is modern with great amenities. If you are looking for a nice place in Philly, Le Meridian is a nice place. The lobby is clean and modern and friendly with a nice bar, and the rooms are all very clean. You'd be hard pressed to find something nicer in Philly.

I didn't spend much time here, I was spending time with friends during a gap between a wedding ceremony and reception. The hotel seemed high end and classy, the room I was In was nice. It seemed the front desk was running slow and shirt handed, I had to wait a while for my friends to check in and get their room number. I would have thought since my friend had a block of rooms reserved for her wedding they would have expected a large amount checking in however for the few short hours I was there, that was the only short coming I spotted at the hotel.

Not far from this spot, the soul of our great nation was carefully formed by our founding fathers. Enjoy the beauty of this historic city from this centrally located hotel. The cozy rooms feature comfortable amenities and large bathrooms. Housekeeping only provided two towels per day. We would prefer three.

The hotel allowed dogs and was extremely clean. The rooms were also clean with all the ammenities needed. I would definitely stay there again. Great location too.

The event we attended was great and service was impeccable during. When at the lounge on the first floor, however, we were met with subpar service from the general manager, but our dissatisfaction was assuaged by a wonderful server by the name of Sandra. She was able to turn the night around for us, allowing us to truly enjoy the event that followed. The place itself was absolutely beautiful and extravagant in its design. Certainly an establishment I would recommend for social events.
