I walked into Lowe's, through the gardening department. Two employees were standing and speaking with each other, neither acknowledged my (customer) presence. This was such a stark contrast to my experience at the local Ace Hardware store, which I had visited earlier in the day. I proceeded to price check a few of the plants that I had researched earlier. There was no one around to ask questions or help me with a little extra information needed to make a purchase that fits my needs. I decided that I would head back to Ace and finalize my decision to purchase a few plants with them. It seems as if the customer is not made to feel like a priority at Lowe's. I'm guessing with the bigger stores, this is the expected trade off.

Appliance Department has excellent sales going on all the time i go there. I strongly suggest shopping the as a comparison to other places before buying elsewhere .

Went looking for a Hitachi wood router which according to Lowe's was on stock. There was no product on the shelves, I asked the paint associate for some help, she page over the intercom but 10 min later nobody had yet helped me Had to stand in line at customer service for about 20 more min while the reps chatted among themselves before one very unapologetic rep that verified that they did not had the router and suggested for me to visit another store over 20 miles away. Wish Hitachi sold their tools at another's retailers Another epic waste of my time. This time I was looking for plumbing supply's. Over 40 min just to find out they do not carry what I need. There are more people moving on a cemetery than employees in this store.That's fine I think I got most of the things I need let's go to the register. I got to the register, skip the human, go to self checkout. There is a line about 6 people. Not bad. Mistake 15 min the line is not moving. There is only 1 clerk, poor lady cannot deal with the mistakes from all the machines. I left drove another 20 minutes to Home Depot. Hope I get better luck there

Crowded with little help. The item I wanted was out, but I saw one on the very top shelf which would have required a ladder. I couldn't find anyone to help me:-(it was pretty messy in there too. I left and went to IKEA

The employees who know what they are doing are great but not NEARLY enough of them. Lots of blank expressions when you ask about a plumb bob or joiner. But the ones who know- they know all
