The Round Robin Bar at the Willard Hotel in D.C. is quickly becoming a favorite spot to have a drink and soak up the atmosphere. The Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon is absolutely delicious. I have ordered it twice now and have been very happy each time. The Bartender, Elias has worked there for 30 years and is absolutely phenomenal. Ask him to make you any drink and you will not be disappointed.

So much history in this bar. I ordered The Henry Clay Mint Julep and it was the best one I have ever had. The  bartender Jim was so friendly and was full of history. He told us about some of the history of the bar. I would recommend this bar to anyone. Yes you will spend a lot for a drink, but it is worth it.

One word: Proper. This is historic, classy, and all encompassing spectacular. You must at least have one drink here.

I was expecting a high standard and complicated range of whiskey based cocktail since this is the oldest bar in DC and it's President's favourite. I was left disappointed when I looked at the menu, it was mostly just a standard classic drink. It was overpriced and not exciting at all. Luckily I love the classical and historic settings of the bar. I must say it was worth a one time visit while you are in DC.

This place is amazing. The room has so much character. My wife and I came by just for a drink but that turned into a bottle of cab. Didn't want to leave.
