The Museum of Public Relations at Baruch College is a 501(c)(3) educational institution dedicated to preserving the history of our field.
The Museum is a 501 (c) (3) organization founded by Shelley and Barry Spector in 1997. Its collections are now exhibited at Baruch College's Newman Library.
To provide the international PR community with an appreciation for the history of the field; to serve as an educational resource to the world's growing community of PR students; to demonstrate not only the history of the field, but how the PR field has shaped history.
The Museum provides lectures and tours on site and online to students, professionals and scholars. It provides digitized texts of papers, books and other hard-to-find research resources. It licenses museum-produced video interviews, text and photos to media organizations.
