We went in December but were very glad that the visitor center was open (unlike, for example, the Grand Canyon North Rim, which closes for Winter). The ranger was very friendly and informative and staying until dusk was a magical experience. There is an easy hike with a view of the ruins far-below. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. It's about an hour and a half away from Page. Make sure to double-check your route because our GPS first tried to take us on some impassable dirt roads. There is a paved road all the way.

The park was largely closed due to the time of year and the snow, but the visitor center was open and the path to the overlook is cleared daily. The view was beautiful! Can’t wait to go back and hike in to the ruins!

Great views. The only complaint people have is accessability but given the occasional moron can you fault the need to preserve this wonderful glimpse of history? Anyone with a smartphone can take a picture for better views if needed or pay the fee for a closer tour by jeep. We went in January to avoid the crowds but will go back and take the tour in the summer. If you come to visit Northern AZ, it should be, at worst, 3rd on your list next to the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley. An archeologist might put it first.

This was a really cool place to visit! I recommend taking 564 to access over the western entrance. While not a bad drive on the west side, it was slow going and very washboarded out.

Very impressive location to see cliff dwellings in good conditions. After a short walk on a well prepared trail you will have an amazing view over the canyon to the cliff dwellings on the other side. I recommend to bring your own binoculars to the view point. On longer hikes you can reach the cliff dwellings. It might be very hot there. Take enough water with you on your trails.
