Probably the best DMV that I have ever visited. Both the front desk lady and the staff at the counters were super friendly and likable. More importantly, the efficiency was impressive. We were there to renew two photo IDs two days in a roll. Both visits only took less than 1 hour, which was unthinkable in other places. Just one tip: try to avoid Tuesdays because they close on Mondays. Nonetheless, you will be happy with how your case will be taken care of here. You can tell from the photo that there were moments when there were even no people waiting at the counter.
The Dunmore DMV expeditiously processed 50-60 or more people during my quick hour wait to get a new license after I had lost mine. I was greeted at the door by a knowledgeable and efficient employee who asked the nature of my visit, handed me the correct paper work to complete, and directed me to wait for my ticket to be called. Joann helped me get my new license in under 5 minutes. She is friendly, efficient, and professional. I was so pleased with this visit!
When we arrived there were 8 groups of people waiting ahead of us in the line outside. It was brisk and drizzly so no one wanted to wait outside for long, but the line to enter the building moved very quickly. Once inside, we waited about 10 minutes for our number to be called. There are a few well spaced seats set out to sit in while waiting pictured. Thankfully, we weren't sitting like sardines like past visits. The person who helped us was very friendly and professional. It was not chaotic like times in the past have felt. It was calm and smooth. It was a fantastic first time experience for the relative I was with.
Went to have my picture taken for my license and I was in and out like 15 minutes and the people there were very nice. I'll keep going back to that facility.
The best DMV visit I’ve ever had! I didn’t spend more than ten minutes in total with seven people in front of me. Each employee I encountered was friendly, patient, and helpful.
This is usually a dreaded experience, however thet had an amazing system going and it went quickly. I choose not to go right for opening but an hour after. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Trying to get a real ID with my wife Made 5 trips and left with no ID. Every time we went they rejected one of the documents. Instead of reviewing all of the documents the first time, when the came across something they didn't like, we were sent on our way.
No one likes going to the DMV for any reason. I do think they streamlined the services as much as they can. I arrived ten minutes after they opened and my visit took forty five minutes to complete. With a camera card in hand I thought I'd be out quicker. Really a toss up in my opinion; arrive 10 minutes prior to opening and may get lucky. The last time I was there four years ago, I strolled in at 2:15 in the afternoon and was out the door in 20 minutes.
Very quick service on a Thursday morning. Got in line before they opened, which if you're there for a real ID like I was you probably don't have to show up that early. There was almost no wait for real ID. I needed to change my name due to marriage before I could proceed with the real ID process, which ended up being a little more difficult than I thought. Rob was very patient and helpful throughout the whole process. If you're in this situation as I was it would definitely be worth it to have a passport with your new name first. They had to send my documents to Harrisburg for name change reasons. You would avoid that with a passport is my understanding.
Place is a waist of time they won’t allow testing for endorsements after 2pm even when all computers are empty this is your tax money hard at work
