I cannot begin to say enough about how delightful my many experiences at Raffi Jewellers have been....and I can be a very demanding bugger!! Without fail, I am greeted with a smile, offered beverages and never, ever feel pressured. For years I have purchased jewellery in confidence from Raffi Waterloo & Cambridge, driving past countless other jewellery stores because their top-flight service, brands offered and great inventory selection. I have referred countless others who have always called me with glowing reviews of royal treatment and fair pricing.

I have had an amazing experience with Raffi Jewellers. I originally went in and spoke with Sonia regarding some earrings my husband purchased for our anniversary that I could not wear because the poles were too big. She was fantastic to deal with and gave me her opinion as well as some options. I was told to take my time to think about what I would like to do and they will happily exchange or adjust the earrings to fit. While I was there, they cleaned my jewellery, changed my watch battery for free and one of the other staff members coloured with my two year old so I could speak with Sonia. I also brought them a ring that had broke from another store and I wanted to get a cost on fixing it. Sonia called me to let me know that after their goldsmith looked at it, he realized it was a manufacturing defect and that I should speak again with the other store as they should replace it at no charge. When I did bring in my earring to be fixed, they were done on the same day. I am so happy with the honesty and customer service I have received. Sonia has been absolutely amazing to deal with and my husband and I have both agreed that we will be making all of our future purchases from her. I would highly recommend paying Sonia a visit if you want someone who will go the extra mile with her customer service and honest opinion.

Always take a picture of your jewellery before bringing it to this place! But better yet, never go to this jewellery store. I would give a zero star rating if that were a possibility. I brought the ring that my grandfather left for me when he passed away in for resizing. Upon getting my ring back, they shaved the back of my ring, making it super thin, to get as much of the gold as they could (they get to keep the gold that they shave off rings when resizing). I should have taken a picture of the ring before so that I could prove that they ripped me off, but I guess that is a hard lesson learned. They probably could tell that I did not know much about jewellery and took advantage of me. What upsets me the most is that even after I explained how thin they made the back of the ring, they refused to admit they shaved too much of the gold off. The ring doesn't even fit the finger it was originally supposed to be sized for, because the back is so thin now that it just slides off. (See picture below) What upsets me the most is that this ring has alot of sentimental value and they honestly couldn't care less, they just wanted to make as much money off of me as possible.

I came in fresh from work abit grubby. Sonia met me & my wife with a giant smile like a long lost aunt . She showed me the items I was interested without even a hint of judgment on the way I looked, after no pressure I left with a great price on the future purchase and definitely left feeling great about the experience. I have purchased from them for years and plan too for many more.
