Went in the store today just to get my ring finger sized. A Wonderful kind man greeted me and was very helpful. Did not feel pressured to purchase anything.

I am writing this letter of thanks not only on my boyfriends behalf, but mine as well.  

As I’m sure all know too well that buying for that special someone can sometimes be difficult. Especially when that someone is super particular, like myself. (Or so he says) 

As we go through our milestones such as anniversaries, birthdays, and holidays it tends to always result in the same outcome. He tends to be easily influenced and purchases the first thing the girl on the other side of the counter suggests. As a result we usually will go back and return the item so that I can choose something that actually suites me. In a result he feels defeated and I disappointed. 
But.
Finally! 
He went into the perfect jewelry store. He spoke to someone educated and willing to listen/learn more about the indulividual he was shopping for. 
They asked all the right questions and genuinely cared. He was given ample selection and was educated about the items available. 

He left there with the most perfect gift!

Finally! The moment I could open a box and feel so special!
It was a moment we will always cherish. Not due to the item that I had received, but because of the emotion, effort and thought put into it. 

I loved watching his excitement as he watched mine.

I am proud to say that I wear my Bulova watch everyday! Many thanks goes out to the staff at Barneys Jewelers for helping us make such a memory. 

Thanks for helping him choose the most perfect for me gift! And for also instilling the confidence he needed to make shopping for a loved one enjoyable :)

DO NOT GO HERE FOR WATCH REPAIR. I had a watch purchased from here by my work for an anniversary which was also engraved through them.

I had constant fogging issues on the watch, so after barely a year owning it I took it in to have it looked at (I also asked for it to be cleaned). I was charged about $50 for the repair/cleaning, when I complained that this should have been under warranty, I was told it was not but they knocked $20 off my bill anyway (the repair was a missing screw and reseal).

One month later, the watch dies completely. I sent it directly to Bulova thinking there is no way this battery has died -- only to find out that they had to completely repair the movement and reseal the watch.

It's pretty clear to me that the watch was not re-assembled properly when the engraving was originally done, a screw fell out -- they charged me for a repair, and THEN it broke again a month later due to the poor quality of work that was performed.

I will never be returning again or recommend this place to anyone.

My 'GO-TO' place for jewellery. I've visited Barney, Sharon & James for the last 10+ years and they have never disappointed. When it came time to search for an engagement ring, they asked questions about my girlfriend to get a sense of what she would be comfortable wearing and made appropriate recommendations. The engagement ring was absolutely perfect, as was the matching wedding band, diamond earrings and my wedding band. Unbelievable service, why would you go anywhere else?
