HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.  I ignored all of the negative reviews because I really liked a piece of furniture I saw on their website.  That's a mistake I won't make again.  I spent over $1,100 on one piece of furniture that Rooms to Go has delivered DAMAGED twice.  Customer service after the sale SUCKS.  I have taken off work 3 times to be home waiting on this one piece and "customer service" has been nothing but cynical about my complaints about this unacceptable service.  Here's a word to the wise, when you see a large company, like this, has less than 4 out of 5 stars, RUN!  This company has less that 3.  That many people couldn't be complaining about nothing.  Not to mention, it takes time to log in and write a review to begin with. I should have listened to the warnings.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had in mind what I wanted when going in, so sales wise the associates were great in showing me what I had found online and putting together the order. Everything after that went terribly. Bedroom set I picked out would take a month to receive due to recent sales and currently being out of stock, understandable. Paying extra money for a table and chair to get delivered a week later (in order to have table assembled for me) also somewhat understandable. The major problem occurred when they never called to confirm delivery time, showed up at my place before 8am and did not wait the 15 required minutes for me to respond. I called driver within those 15 minutes, no answer. I then call customer service whom informed me  dispatch is getting ahold of driver, not sure of the exact time, but furniture will be delivered by end of day. I hear nothing by 1pm, so I call back and am then told delivery guy is done for the day so I'll have to call back in 2 days to reschedule my delivery or just cancel the order. Call the store furniture was ordered from and am informed I missed the delivery (the delivery no one ever gave me a time frame on) so I can reschedule in 2 days or cancel my order. Jeff, who claimed to be the manager, had complete disregard for the predicament I was in. I even offered to go to the distribution center in Arlington and pick up the order myself and was again told to call and reschedule delivery in 2 days or cancel the order. When frustrations from my end were expressed Jeff then said, "I'm not going to continue this conversation, this order will just be cancelled," and hung up. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Salesman David B. was great. He let us look around and was not pushy.  Made the buying experience pleasant. HOWEVER....  The delivery was another story. I had 2 texts and 2 calls confirming delivery time was 3-7. I planned my entire day around the delivery. At 12:27 the delivery guy called and said he was 15 minutes out. I told him I was not available as the delivery time was confirmed between 3-7. He then had the delivery dispatch call me. The dispatcher I spoke with was not helpful and I asked to speak with a manager. She connected me with Frank. I explained to Frank I was not available and I received communication confirming the delivery time window. He told me he would call the driver and have the couch delivered during the 3-7 timeframe. I asked and confirm with Frank twice that the couch would be delivered and he said, “Yes, it will be delivered between 3-7. At 7:15 the couch had not arrived. I called the number that the delivery guy had called me on and was hung up on. I then called the store. The manager I spoke with, Laura, did absolutely nothing to help. She took no ownership of the situation. She said there was nothing that could be done and I would have to wait until the next day. I asked to have the delivery charge refunded and she said she couldn’t do that.  As a store manager, one would think they have the empowerment to refund a customer $90.00 because of their company’s mistake. Laura even said she would be glad to refund the entire purchase.  I got the impression that she wanted to give me refund rather than help a customer out.  Even then it still couldn’t be done until the next day.

This is my third purchase through this company and by far the worst experience I have had. While previous experiences were nothing to rave about, they at least delivered my purchases when they said they would.

I went to rooms to go KIDS with the intentions of buying my daughter a new bedroom set but your sales person Tony was just so dry and not inviting at all... I had to ask about the sale and the prices and I also had to ask for a quote, it really felt like he didn't want to make a sale and he was not very friendly at all... I definitely won't be coming back to this location to spend any money here I'll keep my business at Mattress Firm.

They met me at the door and checked things off my list. The furniture was good quality at a good price. I needed smaller furniture for apartment living and they had it.  I haven’t taken delivery yet so I’ll keep you posted!
