We got a free upgrade and we were only waiting about 10 minutes to collect the car as they had a lot of staff working. They lose a star as the staff member pushed really hard to sell the extra insurance even though I have a private policy that covers me. His attitude completely turned after this. Apart from that everything went super smoothly including the drop off. So if you can survive the aggressive selling of the extra insurance (however perhaps you might need it if you don't have your own coverage) then I would recommend.

I had a good experience, having used them for rental for the first time. I had big luggage with me and was advised correctly by the agent that it won't fit the car I booked earlier - a Mustang. I was given options and 50% was deducted from upgrade charges. The return was easy enough. When I went to pick up my car, Sixt was the only counter with a huge line of customers. Other rental had sparse number of people waiting.

First time renting with Sixt and all went well, despite the attempt to sell additional insurance on the basis that it was missing from our package and we needed it.  Apart from that the car was well presented, what we ordered and the return was easy.  We are used to having a receipt when returning but none was offered which was a little disconcerting - that arrived later by email.  All good and we would rent with Sixt again.

I've used Sixt twice now and they were the best experiences I've had in my decades of renting cars. Website + app - great. Airport rental operation - great. Personnel - friendly, competent, efficient. Cars - terrific. Return process - super simple and fast. And the pricing is competitive with the lower-cost rental car agencies who don't come CLOSE to Sixt in any category. Not only with Sixt be my go-to rental agency any time I need to rent a car, I will be disappointed if they're not an option. Absolutely top rate from start to finish. Bravo!

Very straight forward, and the cars are excellent. Would suggest to check out their recommended offers online. We got a Mercedes SUV for a good price that way.
