I just got married yesterday and stayed at suburban extended stay. Their rooms were the perfect size to get ready in. The staff were awesome and Rick the GM was attentive and very accommodating. I had a great time. Thank you!

The entire hotel, from the lobby to the hallways to the rooms, absolutely reeks of smoke. Despite the claims that the whole hotel is non-smoking, the smell was strong and unavoidable. The windows in the room didn't have screens, so we couldn't open them to air out the room without letting the bugs in. We had a King Suite, and despite the rooms of the suite being very large, there was almost no storage. There was a small freestanding wardrobe (that was almost entirely taken up by the ironing board) and three small drawers, but no closet or shelves. We had a Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom of our room, but the jets didn't work and the spigot leaked, which meant that we had to try to sleep with the loud running water in the background. Breakfast was decent, but the breakfast area also smelled strongly of smoke. The only positive of this hotel was that the staff were very helpful and friendly, the bed was comfortable, the location is convenient to Worcester, and check-in and check-out were easy.

we stayed for a week visiting family, was able to cook family dinner for them. made reservation thru calling choice hotel for the best rate. We had suite and I will definitely stay there again next visit and have recommended it to other family that is planning to travel

I usually treat hotel reviews as a tour of disgruntled people, leaving bad reviews to compensate for some imagined slight. I should have listened to the reviewers this time. I ended up booking a room in this dump because other nearby hotels were already full. I should have reserved something farther away. Checking in was a hassle. First, the desk attendant had difficulty even finding my reservation. Apparently the subtle distinction between "Joseph" and "Joe" confused their reservation system. Then, their computer struggled with my credit card (on a corporate Amex platinum account). The attendant was pleasant, which made checking in the best thing about my stay. The entire hotel smelled of stale cigarette smoke, mold, and despair -- the kind that only comes out after you bulldoze someplace and rebuild. The bed was uncomfortable, linens and towels were old and threadbare, the hallways were dark and dank. While the room was spacious, it was filthy and poorly maintained. The shower didn't work properly, there was a hole in the drywall near the windows and stains on the wall near the door that I dearly hope were spaghetti sauce or ketchup. The alternative is just too disturbing. Overall, this would have been a fine hotel, if my goal had been to give up and have a place in which to drink myself to death. For somebody looking to wake refreshed and conduct business the next morning, it was a train wreck. Avoid at all costs, unless you're truly desperate. Never again for this chain. I'd have slept better in my rental car.

It was alright. The rooms smelled of smoke in a no smoking room. And it wasn't well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly though.
