I work for St. Augustine's Catholic Church. On a Saturday evening before our regular busy day on Sunday, all of our toilets backed up. I had trouble finding an after hours plumber. When I decided to call Sunshine Plumbing and Gas, my call was answered by Victoria. She was easy to work with and was able to get a plumber, Chris, to my work location quickly. Both of these individuals were very professional and easy to work with. Chris did a great job and got the toilets running in very short order. The price was also reasonable. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs, during or after hours. Thank you again to Victoria and Chris. Let your respective bosses know I appreciate it that he/she has employees like you on board. God bless.

I needed someone last minute. Sunshine was the first in my search and was available. Tony was very sweet and polite but didn't seem very focused. He forgot to leave pipes for the faucet to be attached and had to return. He also didn't brace the bathtub faucet. My husband is also on deployment and Tony walked into my home without knocking or ringing the doorbell twice, on two separate occasions. I called Sunshine and was greeted with warmth each time. Even when I was frustrated and stressed because of my bathroom remodel. They sent out another plumber named Shaun to brace the faucet and he did knock before walking inside. What I look for most in a company is honesty, integrity and quality work. Sunshine went above and beyond to do a great job and was polite each step of the way. I absolutely hate calling a company to complain. When I called them all I was given was understanding and kindness. So impressed with how they handled the situation and will use them in the future!

UPDATE: After contacting the company about my bill, the owner of the company personally called me, and we discussed my experience. He promised to retrain his staff, and assured me I would not be charged, and apologized sincerely. I was impressed with the time he took to address my concerns, and with the quality of the customer service, even if my original experience with the company wasn't great. My reservations have been resolved fully.

I chose this company based on the great reviews, however I received pretty appalling service. They charged me 92 dollars for a 10 minute diagnosis, and then promptly told me they would need to come back another day (no problem, I understand that). They came back a second day, and removed a piece of a beam from under the house to reach the pipe, and then had to come back another day when I could let them into the house (also no problem). However, after this I scheduled 4 separate dates/times for them to meet me and fix the pipe. The first day, they called 3 hours after our scheduled time to report that they were not going to be able to make it. The second time the plumber told me an hour after our scheduled time that he had to go home for a family issue. The third time they did not show up for 4 hours, so I called to find out where they were. They told me they were swamped, but would try to come by. They came by, looked at my wall, and told me they had to come back. When they canceled an additional time, I got another plumber to take care of the job, and they knocked it out in one day. I had to take 5 days off of work for Sunshine plumbing to do nothing, something that I cannot afford to do. 

In the end, they charged me 300 dollars for basically nothing.

UPDATE TO A PREVIOUS REVIEW: This is now the fourth time we've used Sunshine Plumbing in the last 18 months for various jobs around our home because we've been so impressed with the work they do. Sunshine is the best plumbing company we've ever used, with superior customer service, quick appointments, fair prices, and very capable plumbers. Last week, Keeton did the work to replace a toilet, and he was highly competent, knowledgeable, and efficient, kept a very neat work area, and made the whole experience so easy for us. The manner in which Keeton performed the installation made us sure that we'll call Sunshine for our next job. Great job, Keeton!First time working with Sunshine and, based on the quick service appointment that we received and the work that Jerry did, Sunshine is now our go-to plumber. 

PREVIOUS POST: Installation of our new gas water heater was very challenging and complicated due to space limitations and location of old connections, but Jerry, obviously a very experienced plumber, figured everything out, and we are completely satisfied. Jerry's work is meticulous, with all plumbing neatly and carefully done and with extra-clean job site, plus Jerry was very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained the new system as he went along, and we were especially impressed with his concern for safety with his checking and re-checking of all gas lines for a leak. We could see that he is a true professional who cares about doing the highest-quality work in an efficient manner, so we feel very lucky that we chose Sunshine for our new system and that Jerry performed the installation.

Tony provided EXCEPTIONAL service!! He was very professional, polite, and worked so diligently to sort out my plumbing issues. He said he wasn't leaving until he got me sqared away and that is just what he did. He pushed on until all my lines were clear. He arrived on time and didn't take a break even after I offered him to. He explained everything so that I could understand it and I will definitely use sunshine again and recomend them,  just because of this experience. Tony, you're the man, thanks.
