The nurses doctors and techs are great. One doctor was lacking in bedside manner but...oh well. The emergency room was fast and efficient and all of the food was excellent. We only had one problem and that was the care transition manager on the 5th floor..TB. She announced that my dad was denied transfer to the long term acute care facility by the insurance company. Upon calling the insurance company I was told that my dad's case had just been turned in to the appropriate doctor for consideration and no determination had been made. After finding out that I had talked to the insurance company she continued to lie and throw blame on everyone else. She would not speak to us from that point on. She sent nurses to the room with messages for us. Excellent bedside manner! I feel like we are being encouraged to take.my 90 year old dad out of "there" hospital and take him home. According to one doctor hospice can provide a peaceful end of life.

Labor & Delivery is TERRIBLE. Years ago, pregnant with my first child, I came in with contractions, and had been wiping dark red when I went to the rest room. The L&D ward sent me home after being told my contractions were not close enough and there was nothing wrong. Went to another hospital, had to have an emergency c-section; my daughter had pooped in the womb and in distress, which is why it was dark red/brown when I went to the bathroom. Now, my sister, scheduled for inducement last week, has been turned away THREE times, due to being "too full" and not having a room for her. She has already started her maternity leave, our mother has taken all of her vacation off of work, and I have taken off as well to be with here. But apparently she is stuck in limbo, and the staff have been nothing but rude when my sister calls to see when they will reschedule her. Rude, inconsiderate, and disrespectful. Register and go somewhere else. Not worth it.

I went in for a torn calf muscle and morn ER Dr. was awesome! He helped with the pain and gave me a referral to a surgeon. It's been 6 days and I felt my calf tear more. I can actually feel the whole in my calf. Just spent 3 hours in the ER waiting crying in pain to be seen by a Dr. Dr. came in room for less than a minute before he said I was already given medicine and there was nothing he could do. He acted as if that was all I was seeking! My pain is still excruciating but I guess Tylenol will have to do!

I went to the ER initially 6months pregnant due to lower abdominal pains and pressure. I arrived around a quarter to 3pm and was transferred to labor and delivery. 3hrs later I was still sitting in the waiting area. Because of my pain I was not able to even walk to the nurses station so i called to ask if I they had maybe forgotten about me the nurse said “UMMMM no I doubt we forgot let me check the list.” She said I was at the top of the list they were just waiting on a room still. The staff seems to only work here for a check they are not endearing by any means. The nurses were very rude to me and I would NEVER EVER consider delivering here.

I recently had surgery and from the pre admit testing Amy the RN and Sharia were great they really made me feel comfortable and in good hands I was not worried at all. Dr. Howell and all who were involved with my surgery were fantastic. I had an overnight stay and was in room 2238 I believe and my nurses Stephanie and Erin I can't say enough I was treated so good I want to Thank you all.
