Back in College in 2013 I snapped my arm playing club baseball for Baylor while sliding. A parent of my teammate took me here. Upon finding out I was uninsured I was treated inhumanely. No one in the staff wanted to answer any questions I had about the injury. I was in 10 out of 10 pain the whole time and it took them 2 days to finally give me surgery. They almost made me wait 1 more day but my mom complained. The surgeon was annoyed and said he will do it but be late for his dinner with a priest. I wasn't sure about the details of my surgery but I was left with a scar from the bottom of my shoulder all the way down to my elbow. I was in even more pain after and I was rushed out if the door as soon as I woke up. Even though I now have a good paying job with insurance I am weary of doctors due to my experience here.

I can and will openly say I came to Dallas Presbyterian as an assault victim. They took such good care of me and we're incredible despite me crying on the way to the hospital from fear. I was nervous about the poor reviews, but they quickly calmed my nerves and my fears. I didn't have a single complaint about anyone there. I believe one of the nurses/doctors who made me feel awesome and at ease was a young woman named Allison. If you are a victim of any sort of assault, I can say from my own personal experience to highly consider going here. Thank you so much to Dallas Presbyterian staff for being so great!

My husband was admitted to the hospital more than 24 hours ago and we are STILL waiting to talk to ONE person with a plan or any information re course of treatment. He was admitted from the ER to a room exactly 24 hours ago. Since that time, no info re course of treatment, nothing. Walking the halls to see if there are actually doctors here... Nope. Normally, at a hospital, you’d see doctors walking up and down the halls, walking in and out of patient rooms, something. Here, I’m wondering if there ARE doctors. Seriously.. If so, where are they? Are they trapped in a room somewhere? Can I free them? This is INSANE. Literally thinking of killing time by polling the other patients on the floor to see who has been lucky enough to see a real doctor. That said, the nurses we’ve had have been great. They have done everything they can possibly do, without a doctor, to make the stay as smooth as possible. If only the nurses were in charge, I could give this facility a better rating. Unfortunately, even the nurses are at the mercy of waiting on a doctor to deem their calls/inquiries as important enough to warrant caring about someone else’s needs or questions. This has been my first and last visit to this hospital. Had I been the one in the bed, I would have already rolled myself out the door and down 75 to Baylor — even with that travel time, I’m sure I’d see a doctor sooner than I would waiting at this hospital.

Because of my unfortunate change of my insurance, I had to return to this dreadful ER. I haven't been here in 15 years for this very reason. They have kept me hostage, not given me any medication, and not have done anything to help me feel better. All I needed for some nausea medicine, pain medicine and something to help my itching after my seizures. This has become and is still the worst ER besides Medical city in DALLAS! DO NOT come UNLESS you like to donate to the Presbyterian ER unattended fund. The nurses stand outside your door and talk about you but do not help. I was there for 12 hours with no pillow under my head and no treatment.Go to Advanced ER on Inwood. They are the best ER in Dallas. And if they're not able to take care of you there, they will send you to a Room at a specific hospital and get your care. The payment is the same but you get personal attention from the doctor and the nurses and the techs.

This is in regards to the ER. Brought my sister in at 8:30PM and there were a few people in the lobby. Writing this at 2:00AM after they've taken vitals, blood and a urine sample. I ask the nurses what the delay is and they come back with "it's been a busy weekend. All hospitals have this delay." I personally called Baylor @ Uptown who has a 10 person wait and Parkland who has a 15 person wait. This isn't an urgent care so I know there are more than 10 beds in this ER unit. Never coming here again. I'll be sure to refute any and all claims sent to the insurance company as well. You complain and don't pay for your food, well you should receive care in a timely manner or the hospital doesn't get paid either. UPDATE: The staff and I figured out at around 4 that she was being treated for the wrong thing. Totally wrong. Had to speak to the nursing supervisor to try to rectify the situation. I can understand trying to better the situation but the staff could've tried a little harder. We didn't end up leaving until 8:30AM. A simple injection or 2 ended up taking 12 hours to do. This was a serious ball-drop on the staff's part.
