My wife and I where told that she would have her surgery and then be released in 23 hours or less. We had to stay all the way through Saturday afternoon . No one could or would tell us when she would be released. I asked about every hour or two and Nothing! My wife ordered food for lunch and i looked at the food. It was old like it had been setting out for hour's. will never deal with these people again! Worst experience with a hospital ever! There is not much good about this hospital. The night nurse,s where more interested in the E.M.T,s then with the patient,s. If you need a hospital you might want to look at Baylor!

Terrible place. Went for stomach pain back in July of 2017, the doctor who saw me was great and found the problem as quickly as possible. The parts that followed are what have ruined my visit and caused me so much stress. The lady who took my insurance card read it wrong and insisted I pay $400 out of pocket, and I was dehydrated, and too tired to argue with her why, only to later find out that my insurance covered my ER visit 100%. I got refunded $400 eventually after speaking with insurance. Now in November i am receiving a letter stating I am past due on a bill of $470, and that I have been turned over to collections. No prior notice. Not to mention the ER gave me a referral to a gastrointestinal doctor in the same hospital system who refused to take my referral. Nightmare of a place. Absolute morons taking insurance. Scammers too. *would also like to note that others who have complained about the hospital have gotten a prompt response from the page managers, but my complaint has been up for 2 months with no acknowledgement.

Ill admit my husband and i have had previous experiences at this location that were awful but when he got sick this was the closest hospital so with no options we went and i was blown away by the care the ER doctor gave my husband sadly my husband was admitted but the staff was still wonderful that is until the PM shift started they just did not care but i will say better than our past trips to this hospital. 1 person who works here named TINA she is a sweet black lady i believe she works in the lab she took my husbands blood she was so awesome she mad my poor sick husband laugh and smile and just made the whole situation so much brighter i hope she sees this and knows how much it meant to us and hope she keeps it up. God bless you Tina!

Went to the ER with severe pain unable to move my neck, a numb arm and fingers, for a minute i got the impression i was at a hospital in a 3rd world country, according to the Dr the have a shortest of pain medication and my condition was not critical for the ER to provide me with the right pain medication, I had knnie stones and the pain I had was more severe. They ask you what the level of pain is ? Why if you are not going to provide the right treatment don't ask that question. I been a loyal customer, always pay my bills but after last night they will never see me ever again 4 hrs later went to a different ER and I had no problem getting the proper medication. I got a call from one of the hospitals administrator somehow he found out about the incident he wanted to notice my side of the story I told him exactly what happened I was still in pain and I told him I had planned to go to Baylor they asked me to reconsider well there was the worst mistake of my life I never had said this before but the hospital got racial with me. Unacceptable behavior for a business like a hospital to take that kind of approach, I left without the discharge papers 15 minutes later i started having chest pains called 911 and I was having symptoms of a heart attack I'm still here at Baylor they still running tests by the way my blood pressure when I got to Baylor was 210 over 140 another thing they forgot to check, also everyone that came in the ER was offer,a mask for protection I was never asked to wear one, they took me into a room w 4 chairs for treatment, this room was not sanitize properly they were fabric chairs and they have March from people that have been sitting on it for many many days or months as everyone else was offer a room with clean sheets and properly sanitize I was asked to going to this room I guess I was not good enough to be in a private room

My husband had to stop at the emergency room at Texas Health Presbyterian while on his way to work due to a sudden severe abdominal pain .. it was roughly 9am in the morning and he was the ONLY patient in the waiting room... when I arrived there 30 min later his was hunched over in severe pain moaning..ive never seen him like this. I ran up to the window and asked when he would be seen, that he couldn't take the pain much longer!! To at least give me some pain medicine. Everyone behind the counter were laughing and throwing stuff at each other... absolutely NO SENSE OF URGENCY for their patients!! One of the girls looked over at my husband as he was hunched over and with no sympathy just said " Ok ill let them know" ... then turned around to talk to her girlfriend and asked " What's for lunch today"? While the rest of the staff chimed in... they kept going on with their conversation. .we waited another 45 min to be seen!! My husband was sitting in pain and could.not walk or sit up and we were seen over an hr after he arrived again, with no one else waiting. I finally got him on a wheel chair and rolled him in... walking in we saw about 12 nurses/staff members walking around chatting it up again talking about what they did this weekend, whats for lunch, etc.. and Im.thinking... did my husband seriously wait over an hr and a half for nothing? Long story short .. bad experience.. we kept asking for some pain medicine and the first nurse that came in the room.said Ok ill go get you some. We waited a whole other 45 min to get some pain medicine! My husband face was red from the pain and I walked out of the room and pleaded with everyone that walked by to please give me some pain medicine. Each person said "I'm not your nurse but ill let them know " There was 2 other nurses that came in that didnt care what was going on.. if it wasnt for our main nurse ( Kelly.. blond lady with short hair ) I would of had a major.melt down. She was the only staff memeber that seemed to care and only one we actually saw " working" she was running from.room.to room caring for all of her patients while everyone else was goofing around... again NO SENSE OF URGENCY and so unprofessional. I would understand if they even SEEMED or acted as if they were working but they were literally leaning over counters, laughing... talking to their friends about the party they went to, what they are having for lunch, etc. We left with no diagnosis. Blood work was fine, no kidney stones or appendix issue, urine came out ok. Just to go home and drink water and see how it going. Today is the next morning and my husband still cannot sit up or walk :'( . Its 4am in the morning and at 6am ill start calling around for a gastro Dr..
