The Westin Cleveland Downtown re-opened May 15th, 2014. We are located adjacent to the Cleveland Medical Mart and Convention Center complex. The former Crowne Plaza is underwent a $64 million renovation prior to re-opening as a Westin. The Westin Cleveland Downtown offers 484 luxurious guestrooms and suites, as well as an Urban Farmer concept restaurant, and 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting facilities.

I have to rave about the courtesy and politeness of the personnel I came across. Checked in after midnight and was told I could call for a microwave which Heidi helped me out with and brought it promptly. The young lady at the check-in desk was very informative. Everything seemed great until I was about to crawl in bed, after a 12hr work day, and come to find black curly hairs on my sheets, pillows and even inside the pillow cases!! I was disturbed, disgusted and utterly disappointed. This is a Westin and I expected better. I confronted the desk and was told they would let the director of housekeeping know. No apology, no compensation, nothing!! Very unhappy and I travel 20 days a month!!

Nice hotel in downtown Cleveland. Clean, good customer service, updated decor. We were on the 20th floor, with a view of downtown. Close to Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, dining and other attractions. My only complaint: the shower is only partially enclosed with half of a clear glass door/barrier and the water leaked out of the open section. It also appeared to need caulking to prevent leaking from the enclosure. But we would definitely stay again.

We only used the valet here but the hotel was really nice. The front desk attendant was sweet. It was super close to the Quicken Loans Arena...maybe a ten minute walk. Valet was super easy to check in and out. Would use their services again for sure.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... The hotel is conveniently close to the Quicken Loans arena and has a nice view of the lake. The room was nice and clean. The only complaint I have is that there were no trash bags in the trash cans. Otherwise, I definitely would stay there again!

Stayed here after watching a Browns game (was cheering for the Packers), and it was nice. The room service food is waaaay overpriced for the quality and low quantity of what you get. If the same burger I got is from the fancy restaurant in the hotel, then the price isn't worth it at all (it said the Urban Farmer burger, which is the name of the fancy restaurant, so I'm assuming it was one of their signature burgers). Shower was small and weirdly open (a glass wall with a hole in it to reach the handle), so water got everywhere and it made the bathroom slippery. I feel bad for the people who have to clean up all the wet puddles from the guests showering. It was clean. Nice view. I'd stay here again, but I would find food outside the hotel or bring my own next time.
