Absolutely a horrible excuse for a post office. First, they cost my husband a job by placing mail in our p. o. box 4 weeks late and now they just cost my children their education. My children have worked extra hard to get into the school of their choice and because Shively doesn't do their jobs right, we got the letters that had time sensitive information over 5 weeks late. Now, my straight A students won't be able to attend the school they worked so hard for. We called to address the issues and we talked to "kathy" at the post office,  she said "it wasn't my problem, I doesn't have to get the mail to you on time and what do we want me to do about it?" This matter will be taken as high up as possible!!! Now I have to tell my son's that their hard work was for nothing because apparently Shively doesn't have to do their jobs. I hope you're happy with yourself, thanks for crushing children's dreams and almost making us homeless a few months back. Such a fine establishment you're running, my dogs could do better.

Mail being stolen from my mailbox. Twice I have been to post office in regards to person seen in my mailbox. Been going on for sometime. They had a answer ..lol get a box at the post office. Only suggestion they could give. Well its a ferderal crimes to take mail. Today I have to have all mail changed to a safe address. Plus a credit credit. Why credit check. These people got my bank statements. Insurance bills and credit cards applications ( which I burn).

It's not the post office itself, it is the carriers in this area. We've had our mail delivered on the street over, next door, and have even had it put back into our mailbox when it is clearly stamped and addressed to be mailed somewhere else. I called the post office to complain, so we'll see if it gets any better. Give me the job, I guarantee you I could do it correctly. Can they even read??

This post office fits the description of SNAIL mail to its fullest. It literally took them 5 days to deliver Valentines day cards from one end of Louisville to the other. I consistently get the wrong mail, from wrong addresses, along with packages that customers pay for. I think my two children the age of 10 and 7 could run this post office better.
