I tried to ship an overseas package and after 35 minutes of attempting to enter info in computer was told they didn't have the forms I needed and were going to charge $135.00 to ship. Went to the main post office in salerno in 10 minutes my package was on it's way for $66.00! That's a huge convenience fee! Never ship from this location!

Terrible location. As others have said, it's difficult to find and then you have to ring a doorbell and wait outside while someone comes to help. The worst part is that the USPS website shows them being open until 5 pm. I left work early one day to get there by 5 pm and pick up a package, but an unofficial looking sign on the door says they're only open until 4 pm during the week! Very aggravating. I put in a ticket with google and USPS to update the operating hours, so hopefully no one else wastes their time.

There are a few spaces to park your car in. Go to one of the doors (not immediately obvious which) and ring the doorbell. Wait anything from a moment to some minutes and someone will show up. Show an ID and ask for your held mail (or present the pinkish slip left by your carrier): you won't be allowed inside. Wait outside for a minute, or perhaps five. There's nowhere to sit. There's a roof to keep off the rain and possibly the sun. Maybe it's more secure than having your mail at your nearest post office, but that's about the only advantage of doing things this way.

I waited 60 minutes to talk to someone no one answered the phone so I hung up calling the US post office in Florida is like trying to call the pope in Rome you get absolutely nowhere terrible serviceo
