Beware of Brain Games of Auto & Tire.,

Couple of days ago, I got quote for the repair. 
Few days later I got the repair done under the assumption that cost is same as what they have quoted and signed the agreement paper.   While paying the bill, I realized $70 more than actual quote.   Here is what happened.

In the bill you see
Repair description, labor cost, part cost and total repair cost printed in single row.

Customers assume that is the cost they are going to pay.

And sign the agreement on Signature section without looking further down.

After signature section, there are adding additional charges, in addition to what they have quoted. To late to argue, as you have already signed the agreement.

So,  be carefully before sign agreement.

Great experience! Had tire patched and oil change done within an hour for a good price. I had brought groceries in and forgot them - Michael came running out afterwards and handed them to me through my car window.

I noticed.my inspection was two days past due. I Googled the closest inspection station which was this Virgina Tire and tried to call to see if they could get me in. The phone rang for a bit with no answer, being in a bit of a pickle I decided to gamble and drive down. When I arrived they said they could slide me into one of the last slots for the day and estimated I would be done at 4:30, bout 1.5 hours. I noticed why they didn't answer the phones, the two guys working were overwhelmed, which they remarked on once or twice, but still took the time to speak with each customer who called. They genuinely wanted to provide the full and correct answer. That is really hard to maintain in a high volume system and these two guys did a really good job. I sat down, used the wifi and drank their coffee. Their estimate was only 15 minutes off and when I asked at 4:45 how we were doing they were getting ready to call my name. Price is standardized so no props there, but the experience was enjoyable, efficient, and effective. Way to win.

My 2009 Subaru Forester’s heat shield rattles like a clunker. I read from web it could take $800 bucks, luckily I found this shop. I dropped it off over night and the next morning I got the call telling me it’s all done ( I was expecting a quote ), and since it only needs tighten some nuts so the service is FREE! I was really surprised, not only their service is quick and decent, their service staff is also very friendly. I will come to this shop for sure in the future and will be very happy to recommend to everyone! But I don’t encourage you to over use their free service, obviously they strive their best to provide the best possible service, but if we don’t pay their well-deserved service, they also need to feed themselves. I sincerely wish their business flourish as this type of shop and people is getting fewer and fewer.

I recently updated from my egregious post. After a recent bad experience and miscommunication between their corporate call center and the actual shop, I received a call from the manager at this location. I was very impressed with his professionalism and the effort to make it right. Id have to say that this shows a ton of class. Very rarely this happens. He explained to me his situation and wanted to clear up the misunderstanding. He took the time to understand it from my perspective and the value of my time. It was definitely appreciative effort to call back. I do plan on coming back for future services should the professionalism continues. Ive been coming here for years for their tires and hope their services continue to this path as well.
