We brought both our cars to Fairfax Auto even though it was a real trek for us. We found them to be very trustworthy. They do good work at reasonable prices and don't recommend a bunch of unnecessary work like our dealer's service department used to do. Sadly we had to find another garage because the drive was just too far for us. If you're lucky enough to live within a reasonable distance from these guys, don't hesitate to have them take care of your car(s).

My car died so I had it towed to Fairfax Auto repair without knowing much about it. Very fast communication back from staff. Turns out the issues was something specific that was not there forte and they told us this. They even called another shop for an estimate of the work and passed that info into us. We decided the car was kaput so we ended up purchasing another car. But Fairfax Auto repair allowed our car to stay in their lot for a good 2 weeks through this whole process until it was picked up for donation. Everyone on the staff was helpful and nice. While I don't wish for needing anything fixed on our new car anytime soon, they will be the first shop we call when we will eventually need it.

Definitely recommend this repair shop!  We've been taking our cars here for several years now and always have great service.  The people are really nice and they always give you a fair price and check with you in advance before doing work.  Always a great experience-thank you FAR!

They have some of the best customer service you'll ever experienced at a mechanic shop. This family oriented business is fantastic! Their amazing technicians are super quick about diagnostics and repairs and the front counter staff is very thorough about explaining in layman's terms and always offer good value.  Look no further!

We found our new family auto mechanic!  Recently moved to Fairfax and was extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and courtesy I received from Fairfax Auto Repair.  They're familiar with the unique requirements of German automobiles and charge far less than the dealerships.  More importantly, they're honest about the criticality of specific maintenance tasks so you can plan to have the work completed when it's actually required.
