I took several (probably seven) Oxford speakers in to have them re-coned. I collect Fender Champs. Bill, and I am sorry I can't remember his last name, did the work. He is a craftsman. The job was very well done and the speakers sound great. If you need a re-cone, Bill is the guy you want to do it. He is very experienced and takes the time to do the job right. I am very pleased with what he did.

I always bring my sound system here.  The staff is awesome. Prices are very reasonable.  They have been around for years and very knowledgeable.  I always recommend client's to Winston. They don't try to sell you something you don't need. They are truthful and will tell you straight up if it is worth spending your money.

I hired Winston to do a repair on my 1960 Hammond organ.  The results were wonderful, Very polite and friendly, arrived on time.  The quality of the work is perfect. Very competent and professional. The price was reasonable.  I recommend them for keyboard and electronic repairs.

Update: I just had Winston work on my Kurzweil PC3x, I had them replace 3 scratched keys and replace all the key contacts for the entire keybed. The did work work in timely manner and everything is perfect.  Again a great job.

I have to give them a 5 star for friendliness and accurately diagnosing my problem.  I called about getting my drum machine fixed. The lady on the phone quoted an upfront price that was half of what Roland would have charged if I'd sent it in. When I got there, I was greeted at the door. I unfortunately didn't get the guy's name that helped me. As I described, my problem he told me it was probably the same thing as I was thinking. To be sure, he asked for my power adapter to test it. It turns out that was actually the problem. He didn't get any reading on it. He didn't have an adapter like mine, but told me that when I look for one there may be a difference in numbers over the years. He didn't charge my anything even though I took up about 20 minutes of his time. When I went home to do research on the adapter, I found out that there is a history of them failing and there was an upgraded adapter (with a different number) as a replacement.  I'll definitely recommend them to my musical friends and go back if I have any other electronic issues. Thank you, Winston Electronic.

I went to Winston for a simple clean on my Vintage Technics receiver.  Their rate is $80/hr, and a clean is 1/2 hour labor.  Seemed fair to me.  You pay up front.  When my gear came back, I had a remaining balance for consumables??  That's like dropping a car off for detailing and paying, and then upon pickup saying they decided to charge extra for soap and wax.  Parts were marked up on the lamps I needed.  Inspecting my receiver, I noticed some screws weren't put back properly on the rear.  They were forced back in at an angle.  The internal light diffuser shield for the tuner was bent also.
