The service at time of sale was excellent. We got a great price on appliances. However, the logistics department seems to be disconnected from the sales department. Aside from delays due to lack of supply, there was constant miscommunication in that we were told appliances were all coming but only one of the 3 would show. And then only one of the 2 remaining would show. And on the last attempt, they showed up without the installation kit that we paid for. And then they told me they couldn't install the gas dryer due to copper pipes (vs black iron). So, I ended up hiring someone else to due the install. Granted, hhgregg made up for it by refunding some of our money which is why they're getting a 3 instead of a 1. They did put us through some stress as we did not have a washer dryer for weeks after moving into our home (but they did have our money), so for that and for being disorganized, they get a 3.

What. A. Nightmare. Purchased all new appliances for our kitchen. On delivery, the refrigerator was damaged. New one ordered and delivered a few days later, also damaged. Yet another one ordered, or so we thought - come "delivery date" no one could find the order. Called the store, no help. The next day I went to the store and spoke to the manager to return the entire order. Everything was set up, or so I thought. Come pick up day - nothing! Once again, no one could find the request. There we were, 3 weeks into this nightmare and still getting the run around. The items were finally picked up a week ago but we've yet to receive a refund! Considering the experience, I'm not surprised. I've already complained to the regional manager, corporate office, and the better business bureau. If you're thinking of buying from HH Gregg here is my advice: DON'T. Save yourself the headache.

If I could give this company a negative rating, I would. About two weeks ago, our house was finished. Went to this location. The person helping me was great, even though he normally is in electronics. So we picked out a washer/dryer set, refrigerator, and media chair. We needed a black fridge and were told we would have to wait a week for it to be in stock. So since we still had time before move in, we said to hold the other items and deliver all at once, since we would have to miss work for delivery. The day that the items were meant to be delivered, I got a call that the fridge would be weeks on backorder, and had to drive down 20 miles to pick out a new model. The store manager was nice enough to price match this for me, and told me it would be two days after the other items were set to be delivered. The day we were to get the other items, we get a call 30 min before the end of our window that the only thing on the truck was the chair. They delivered it anyway, and said that the distribution center is still trying to get established since they just changed. So I said, can the washer and dryer be delivered on the day with the fridge. They said yes. I get a call that day that the items are not on the truck again. I call the manager of the store who calls me back at 9:30 pm to tell me he has found them, but the washer is dented. He says he will then get me the floor model and then exchange it out later when the new one comes in stock. I say ok, still not thrilled, but at this point, ready to have a fridge. He says it all will be delivered on Saturday. I get a 10:45-1:45 window that day. At 7 am, I get a call from delivery. The only thing on the truck is the dryer. They show up 30 minutes before the window when we are not home. They say they will call 40 minutes before they show up to warn you. At this point, I cancelled the fridge and washer and went to Lowe's. Got a better price anyway. So moral of the story, Just Say NO!! I will never buy anything from this company. This is by far the hardest thing I have ever tried to accomplish. And we just got married and built a house in the last year.

Had a TV delivered there. While picking it up, I ordered several more items, and also left my number for them to call me about a bed and a refrigerator. Basically, I was ready to spend some money. As I arrived the next day I waited out front for them to open. They saw me there so you think they would have been proactive and started to go get my items. Not the case. Instead, they all just sat around staring at one another. I had asked them the day before to please have it all ready to go. I was shocked at how SLOW they were. So slow, I got in my truck and left. Called back and the guy on the phone was almost confrontational as if I should've waited. Not the answer I was looking for. I will now be returning the TV Stand, the Flat Screen, the BBQ pit, and the recliner. I will also not be buying a mattress or a refrigerator. I will take my money elsewhere. Not even a follow up cal from the manager. The place was dead empty and very slow. Terrible service. I will literally go out of my way to return items and shop elsewhere. I was getting ready to spend a lot of money there too!!!!!

We are happy with our washer and dryer purchase. Best price for the quality we found.
