Stay away from them if you want your calm, they are not worth it at all! Worst experience for me was dealing with them to get an understanding of where on earth my stuff was, it seemed impossible to get a straight answer. They are treating clients as a joke! You are moving and you want the peace of mind of a professional company that would have reliable customer service, stay away from them bc I guarantee they will cause you stress and worries.

The movers were 2 hours late. The driver then told us we have 1400 cubic feet instead of the 845 cubic feet we had paid for and demanded an additional $3300 to move everything. We had listed all furniture and boxes when we were given our moving quote. Results--They did not load the kitchen table and two chairs, a bookcase, a loveseat, two electric recliners, two-drawer file cabinet, four end tables and a queen mattress set. I feel this has been a case of bait and switch. Let's see how they deliver, unload and set up our stuff in Texas. I can not recommend this company.

Overall, do not recommend this company. This is a company that tries to save you money by hiring a driver and contracting work in local cities. It's basically a crap shoot on how good/bad these workers are. And the company charges you according to how long these people take, which is pretty variable. Also, there is no reason for the workers to care about quality as theyre hired per hour. Pros: Our rate was competitive, and things were brought to the arriving city in a timely fashion and in good shape. Cons; The workers were great in one location, terrible in the other. They would leave randomly, sit, talk on the phone, blast music, and the company representative had no control over them because technically they aren't employees. The job per hour was supposed to end at 9 pm, but they didn't get done until midnight of the same day. Also, what they charge for and give you is different. But "its a fixed price" so they make you pay whatever they bill for instead of completing. When talking to customer service of what was on the contract vs what you received as services, Chad, the person we talked to, tried to manipulate the conversation in a way he was constantly right, even though we just wanted to show him that we paid for two drivers hours, when they only had one the whole time. Also, the customer service people also charge you for workers time, but cannot guarantee quality of the work....kind of a huge disconnect. Yet they swear by the "hours these contracted workers are there. I would avoid dealing with Chad, he is simply unprofessional, and is probably trained to defer monetary complaints. I would avoid the company altogether, as they have no control of the quality of their work, since it relies solely on outside contractors.

The showed up on time very polite Worked quickly and packed everything very nice. I would recommend All American Movers First Class White Glove treatment. The gave me the price no bait and switch. Very satisfied.

All American Moving and Storage is the single worst company that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with in my life. Their salespeople will tell you anything necessary to get the job, their movers are untrained, their customer service is non-existent, and their guaranteed prices only last until move in day – when they refuse to unload the truck without additional costs added on. They day of my move, the crew arrived 2 hours late, in a rented Budget truck, which was clearly not big enough for my inventory. The crew immediately started packing and loading – without taking an inventory of what was going onto the truck. Further, I have an expensive baby grand piano. The salesperson Jordan guaranteed in writing that the piano would be moved on a piano board, and would be kept in climate control for the 8 days until my move in. This was required for me to take out insurance on the piano. He actually told me that he was a “good Christian” and would never lie. With a number of belongings, including the piano still remaining, they ran completely out of space (after 7 hours of moving). We then waited 2 hours for another crew to show up – they loaded the piano and some remaining items. I tipped all 8 workers, from both crews. I called the company, and they promised that my belongings would be consolidated in their air-conditioned warehouse to one truck – the truck that was originally slated for my move. 8 days later was move in. Even though I had a contract, which stated a guaranteed price for moving and storage, when the truck arrived, they attempted to charge me an additional $300 for storage. They refused to move anything off of the truck unless I paid in full, which I did ($150 extra after “negotiating”). They sent 1 mover (they guaranteed 4) to do the entire job – a 5 bedroom house. I ended up on the truck with him for 9 hours unloading our belongings. This was supposed to take 4-6 hours. My wife unpacked the furniture from the blankets, most of which was packed loosely and ended up damaged. A second mover showed up 3 hours into the move, in street clothes, and told me that he had just been hired on Craigslist. Jordan, the salesperson had also guaranteed that all of their movers were professionally trained, which was clearly another lie. All of my belongings did not arrive. They never consolidated my items onto a single truck. My belongings (including my piano) remained on the second truck, driving around the southeastern US, without AC. This truck did not arrive until 2 days later. On this truck were – my mattress, half of my baby’s crib, my piano, and a number of other essential items. The piano was no longer on the piano board, which was required for my insurance. When they set it up, it had a loud rattle in the keys – it was completely broken. Then I asked where my mattress was – it was not on the truck, and still has not arrived to this day. It has been 11 days since I moved out, and I still do not have my mattress – they are non-committal as to when it will arrive. In addition, they thought that I was on hold when I called to speak with them about it, but I heard 3 or 4 people joking and laughing about the situation – then Jordan, the salesman, said – just keep him on hold. He was telling the other employees that I was angry “just because of a mattress.” I cannot express enough the level of dishonesty and borderline criminal activity being perpetrated by All American Moving and Storage. Their prices are low for a reason – because they are unprofessional, untrained, dishonest and incompetent. Do not use this company under any circumstances.
