Terrible customer service. I was one that ordered a new battery for my iPhone 6, which took about 3 weeks to even come in, then when the gal called me to schedule the repair I was not in front of my calendar so I ask if I could just stop in and have the repair done. She told me if I didn't schedule right now I would be looking at an hour wait to have the repair done if I just popped into the store, so I schedule the service. Guess what, it still took over an hour to have the battery replaced, just the battery replaced, which I'm sure is just a couple of screws and swapping them out. I bet it would take me less than 5 minutes on my own. Then the employee who rang up my order and took my money NEVER even made eye contact with me when I was talking to him which I thought was extremely rude. Then afterwards I asked for the old battery back to keep since I did already pay for it with the phone when I bought it. His response was "May I ask why you want it back?" (still no eye contact) I said "Sure, I'd like to use it as a back up and I want to make sure a new battery was actually placed into my phone." For all I know is they took my phone in the back behind closed doors, set it on a desk for an hour+ and didn't do a thing but charge me for a new battery. The guy said "No, we send them back to get recycled". I said "Well it is my battery as I paid for it with the phone and I'd like to have it back." He said it was all part of the "battery replacement service" to keep the old one. I asked "Then how do I know there is a new battery in the phone." All he did was shrug his shoulders and walk away. If I'd have know they kept my old battery from the start I would have cancelled my appointment and purchased a battery replacement kit online to replace it myself. Will NEVER go back here for any reason ever again.

I came in for a diagnostics test thinking I needed a new battery. The tech said that everything tested OK but that the time for a new battery might be coming soon, and that it COULD be at fault for the slowness of my iPhone 6. I went through all of his recommendations to reset the settings, content, tried restoring from different backups; everything he recommended. So I set up an appointment to replace the battery. Between waiting for the part and getting in to have the repair done, it took 3 weeks. When I finally got the phone back, the tech said that the repair could not be done because the phone had received water damage and that the aftermarket screen could interfere with the new battery and that for both of those reasons, they could not guarantee a perfect quality repair. Now...I understand that that may be the case. I have no problem with the logic here. Also, everyone was very nice to me. However, I KNEW that my phone had gotten a new display due to water damage. I knew. So WHY at no point are you warning customers that these issues will prevent you from repairing their devices? I'm talking about outside the fine print. I mean, a simple question at the beginning of the process, and you could have saved me my 3 weeks of wait time, and not wasted the time of 3 of your employees on 2 different occasions. Seriously, I am not even that upset. I am definitely confused, though, as to why you aren't screening for past repairs that you (understandably) can't vouch for. Makes you look like an ass it what it does. I am not the only one without Apple Care, or the only one with a wet phone, or the only one with an aftermarket display, or the only one who now looks at going to the Apple Store like a trip to the dentist. You know?

My wife's 6S needs a new battery. This worthless store (Only store in Nebraska) does not keep batteries on hand so it had to be ordered. We live in Columbus so we have to drive to Omaha again to install a battery. This makes as much sense as going to a gas station and being told "We don't keep gas on hand, we'll have to order some. And you will need to make an appointment." Then drive 200 more miles round trip to get some gas. Apple sucks.

So the trick to getting an actual person is this... when the automatic answering machine comes on, just say “Speak to a store manager” and it will send you straight to the store instead of Apple care. When I actually got the store instead of Apple care, he was super kind and helpful. AJ (I think) was incredibly helpful and worked hard to get my issue resolved.

The employees are very helpful and educated. Anytime I have an issue with my apple products I’m always in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I disagree with all complaints about making an appointment and having to wait. What do people expect it’s literally the only apple store around and almost everyone has an apple product.....
