Went in to do the demo for the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset that they have on weekends, friendly employee pointed me in the right direction, where the guy in charge of the demo walked me through all that, and it was a very cool experience. Obviously I wanted to buy one right away, but they were out of stock, but they put an order in for it to be shipped to my house within 2 days, matching Amazon for the headset itself, and beating them in time for the extra sensor.

Also, when I was busy ordering my new gadgets, another employee pointed my friends in the direction of their Switch demo with Mario Kart, which I didn't notice until I went looking for them and the same employee told me where they'd went.

I love shopping at Best Buy!  Being a bit of geek myself might help that!  Always enjoy walking the aisle and seeing what new stuff they have.  The staff is always helpful!  I do question how well they are trained though.  I have on many occasions had them give me bad information on product or overheard them giving other customers bad information.  Sometimes it almost seems like they work on commission here!  The Geek squad can be hit and miss depending on who helps you.  Some of them you almost have to question how they call themselves geeks others really know their stuff though!  Best advice here is, do your homework before you go!

Best Buy has really gone down hill the last couple of years. I went in to get information on the smart watches and stood waiting by the watches for over 20 minutes before someone helped me out. I had at least 4 employees see me waiting by the watches but decided to go around me and not tell anyone there was a customer who needed help. I understand if someone doesn't have info on a product, but at least get someone else to help. When I finally got help, I was going to buy a watch and I had a price match on the watch but the employee told me I would have to come back tomorrow because they were closing. The employee was just lazy and didn't feel like doing any extra work.
