I was very pleased by the service that Ross gave me both when I needed to rent a car AND when I needed to switch vehicles. Very understanding and easy to work with throughout. Special shout out to Felix from the downtown location for giving me a lift to the Hiawatha location.... above and beyond! Will rent from them again!

The car itself was great - clean, in good condition, got me to and from Duluth easily. However, Ross's customer service has ensured I will never rent from them again. Our disagreement was minor, and all I was looking for was some acknowledgment that the person I checked the car out with should have gone over the gas policy with me. Instead Ross stated derisively "All that info was in the contract," he said he was trying to understand me but he continually cut me off, and when I called him out on being dismissive he refused to acknowledge he had been. Really all I was looking for was an "I'm sorry our other employee was unclear" but Ross was incapable of saying that. When I was about to leave and reiterated that all I wanted was a simple apology, Ross yelled "Have a wonderful day" at me repeatedly until I was out the door. His tone was mocking, and I was shocked his lack of professionalism. His teenage niece working the counter at least gave me an apology, but Ross refused to show even the professionalism that a teenager did. 

I will use other rental agencies from now on and I rent a car 1-4 times a year for work. I doubt customer service will ever improve while Ross owns the place.

The convenience and price makes this a 5-star review. I love that I can reserve online without a credit card for lower prices than other competitors that require that you pay in advance. I appreciate that I can pick up away from the airport without all of the headache and without having to pay all of the added costs tacked on to airport rentals. I have rented here now at least 5 times in the last year and have never had more than one person in front of me in line; 5-10 minute wait at most. Staff are friendly and professional. There are only a few small areas of improvement: the car could be a smidge cleaner on the inside and later hours would be a bonus. But for my frequent business travel, this place is a win-win for me in many ways!

I love that this location is the closest to my house. The staff is excellent, the cars are great, and the whole process could not be easier. They are never condescending about my insurance coverage (a lot of places don't believe you when you tell them you know your rental coverage). We will always use this location.
