This was my second time renting a car at MSP. Max the representative was so nice and considerate.  He was very knowledgeable, too. Finally a great car rental experience. Thanks Max!  Excellent customer service goes a long way. Will definitely rent from them again!

Horrible customer service, I am not racist but a certain race literally owns this place and they have no idea about customer service, they yell at you, also, they have damaged cars that they'd blame on you if you forget to mention the damage prior to accepting the car. I love Hertz but not this location.

I fly MSP a lot, and always try my best to avoid this Hertz location if I can. The hustle factor is high here, with the staff trained to try and trick unsuspecting customers into paying more than they need to. Do your research ahead of time, and don't let them bully you into unnecessary extras.                                            If you have any luggage at all, don't rent an economy vehicle unless you want to be given a Chevy Spark, which is tiny, has only 2 doors, and no trunk. And if you rent anything above an economy and prepay, there's a good chance they will claim a vehicle in your class "isn't available", and then see if they can get you to settle for a vehicle a class or 2 down even though you already paid.                                                       Getting out of the actual rental lot is also usually a pain, especially if you are in a hurry. They are almost always understaffed, and the lanes are not marked well, so you have to awkwardly try and "merge" with other drivers, who are also in a hurry, just to try and get out! Best to just avoid this location if possible.

Reserved 4 Runner (no mention of "or similar") was offered a Kia. Agent called "Linda" the manager who refused to accommodate a request for a larger vehicle for the misunderstanding.
